After the Likud primary last year, Netanyahu successfully moved Feiglin - regardless of what one thinks of Feiglin - from the #20 slot he earned to the #36 (no-man's land) slot. Many on the Right concluded Netanyahu has not changed since the Wye River accords - with Yasser Arafat and Bill Clinton - where he sacrificed Hebron to the PLO. Why would a dedicated Zionist seek to remove a land-of-Israel Zionist from a position of influence? Consequently, many on the right voted for parties other than Likud. When Netanyahu was charged with forming a governing coalition, he went to the left; to Labor and Kadima rather than to the right to National Union for instance. What does this indicate? At Bar Illan, Netanyahu announced his support for a Muslim-enemy state in Israel, thus bowing to Obama's central demand. Mr. Obama indicated to "Tel Aviv," this was a very promising step in the right direction. Obama demanded Netanyahu freeze construction. Netanayhu is bowing again to Obama's immoral demand that he freeze construction. Why should anyone be surprised that people on the Left are supporting Netanyahu?
5. Bibi is just another leftist
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.08.09)
When the people voted in a right government, we got Bibi with his extreme leftist view points.

7. Spineless Bibi folds when the crunch comes
Alex Kaufmann ,   Jerusalem   (09.09.09)
Bib can always be counted on to talk eloquently and movingly on behalf of the best interests of our country - like a rightest. But whenever the crunch comes and the Americans put pressure on him, he reliably folds like a proverbial deck of cards. His words and promises are sincere when he utters them, which is why he's so convincing. But they are all absolutely empty because he has no spine or guts to back any of them up. His entire political career is a testament to this, unfortunately. He's just another leftist who, in the end, will sell our people out whenever it's politically or personally expedient for him to do so.
8. The Left supports Netanyahu
Ricardo Kolbe ,   Cologne / Germany   (09.09.09)
Sir, generally speaking it is good to hear that segments of the left support Netanyahu's intention to go for a Two-State solution. However, as long as Mr. Lieberman MK remains in the government I doubt the seriousness. Then the question remains for whom did he do it? Well, firstly for the US admin. for not to endanger the vast economic, military, and political support. In a smaller dimension this is applicable also fo the EU and here especially for Germany. And lastly not to be targeted at the forthcoming UN-session in late September.
