Characteristicaly, no one here dwindles on what non-jews think of this campaign.Not wanting to be assimilated into the nation where you and sometimes ancestors lived during hundreds of years (and thus not regarding it as your fatherland) will be regarded as a form of disloyalty.It is the main reason why jews where detested and nearly universaly expelled by all European nations.What gives you the right to stay in a country amongst people you consider as foreign?

It's not not wanting to assimilate into the nation you live in , it's losing your roots . You can assimilate into the country you are living in , but stay what you are , in this case Jewish . Can a Jew not serve in the Belgian army ? can't he like a "kriek" or Rodenbach ? Can't he/she contribute to the Belgian State ? Were'nt there not great Belgians of Jewish belief ? It's not disloyalty to Belgium , it's loyalty to their roots .

American Jews and Israeli Jews are so different. Israeli's are raised in Israeli values and American Jews are raised in American values. What appears racist and insensitive to Americans is accepted in Israel.
