praises to ali waked   (09.10.09)
there shall be weapons in trucks heading to WB, then in trucks heading for London, to be used against ordinary civilians.

Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron Israel   (09.10.09)
An article signed by Ali Waked and backed by Machsom Watch makes it easy to know what it's all about: "Poor innocent arabs"! "How nasty those Jews are!"
6. ALI, THATS DISGUSTING THAT THE JEWS MADE HIM UNLOAD
....DACON9   (09.10.09)
BASED ON HISTORICAL FACTS IN RECENT HISTORY... THAT THE ARABS OCCUPYING ISRAEL LAND STOLE THE ROMAN JEWISH NAME OF PALISITINE, KILL PEOPLE WITH qassams ,knife attacks, rapes, kidnapping suicide bombs... ALI...ITS DISGUSTING THAT THE ISRAELIS MADE HIM UNLOAD A POSSIBLE ATTACK TO PROTECT JEWS FROM TERRORIST. ALI WAKED..YOU AS AN ARAB FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE JEWISH PLIGHT TO LIVE WITH PEACE OFFERINGS THAT YOUR BROTHERS FAILED FOR 4000 YEARS TO UNDERSTAND. I PRAISE YOU ALI FOR RECOGNIZING THE DIFFICULTIES THE JEWS FACE IN POLICING EVERY ACTIVITY YOUR BROTHERS MAKE TO SAFEGUARD THE CITIZENS OF THE GREATEST BLESSED BY GD COUNTRY CALLED FROM BIBLICAL TIMES *ISRAEL*. ALI WAKED, YOU MUST BE JEWISH IN YOUR BACKGROUND THAT YOU SYMPATHIZE WITH THE GREAT WORK AND DANGER THE ISRAEL CHECK POINT CROSSING SOLDIERS HAVE IN DEALING WITH TERRORISM. DACON9

8. I trust the soldiers more than the truck driver
george ,   ashdod israel   (09.10.09)
Wow, another ridiculous article on ynet--personally I think soldiers should have the discretion to make whatever checks they think are called for. I'll trust the soldiers before I trust the truck driver.
9. Soldiers should be allowed to stop
jason white ,   afula,israel   (09.10.09)
anyone filming them and destroying the cameras. Whoever films the soldiers should be sent to prison for a year.
10. Must have gotten a bad tip
William ,   Israel   (09.10.09)
but better safe than sorry. Pal terrorists are always finding new ways to move weapons and terrorists around in order to kill Jews. There have been many incidents of trucks with the proper papers caught carrying bullets, guns, even people, in "secret" compartments. Sad but it was the Pals' indiscriminate use of items and people that led to the stronger crackdown and more checks, which didn't exist in the late 1990s.
11. Gutless IDF
Shlomo Kamra   (09.10.09)
The IDF Spokesperson declined to comment.
12. Did the driver get paid for overtime?

13. YNET fails again
A Soldier's Mother   (09.10.09)
to tell the full story. My son is near this checkpoint, though wasn't there for this incident. The driver was known to the soldiers as someone who has broken rules before. As many of the comments suggest in the Hebrew article - there were valid reasons to check the shipment. THIS time, it proved that there was nothing there. THIS time - elsewhere in Israel, two Arabs were caught with knives, a woman was injured by stone throwers, and shots were fired at Nachal Oz. THIS incident wasn't - that doesn't negate the need. Shame on YNET for failing, yet again, to tell the full story.
14. #11- Why would the IDF comment until it knew the facts?
William ,   Israel   (09.11.09)
Atleast the IDF waits to get the facts before making a statement. Even with the facts, it's never dissuaded the Arabs and their Leftist junkies from making all kinds of claims, whether true or not.
15. #13 - Amen! Tell it like it is!!
William ,   Israel   (09.11.09)
And blessings to your soldier son and your family.
16. #13 thanks
Josie ,   Israel   (09.11.09)
seems more like it.. why can't our very own ynet not be able to state the full story. Isn't this what journalism is suppose to be?
