Someone died, how are they brave? You people need to learn what words mean in English before you fly them around like trash. Bravery only can be attributed to the family AFTER they come out of this one ok, maybe someone will become an alcoholic or commit suicide, until then, hold your applause. You could always say 'be brave' and you spare your stupidity.

The mother of this young man, having already lost a courageous husband, permitted her eldest son to fly combat aircraft. 'Brave': having or displaying courage, fine, splendid, excellent, admirable.
