Did you know that since the ceasefire that started on June 17th until Saturday that ZERO Israelis were killed by Hamas rockets? Did you know that Israel violated the ceasefire nearly 50 times during the 6 months killing 10s of Palestinians? Did you know that Israel kept a tight blockade on Gaza cutting fuel, food, medicine and other supplies, even though it was one of the terms of the ceasefire to completely lift the blockade? Did you know that U.N.'s Special Rapporteur on Human Rights formally accused Israel of Crimes Against Humanity due to it's siege of Gaza? Did you know that since 2005 Israel has killed or injured 50 Palestinian children for every Israeli child killed or injured?

It is all written, all countries go against Israel at the end of days. Hashem will destroy every country that starts with the Holy Land!

Looks like the authors of the report, follow the International Media viewpoints. Israel has lost the war in the media and here are some of the consequences. The people of the world is barely aware of the events depicted on Mr Peres remarks. The Jewish people ought to create "a Jewish CNN" to counteract an unfair press.

It sounds like you hold Hamas to a different standard than Israel. For Hamas to have broken the cease-fire, it must to have killed an Israeli - the rockets, mortars, sniper shots, and tunnels into Israel territory are just a footnote. But if an Israeli soldier were to accidentally trip and fall into Gaza, you'd consider that a violation. Your racist bias is so blatant! Hamas has broken past cease-fires so many times people have stopped counting, including the use of PRC and IJ to launch attacks for them while Hamas claimed to be upholding the cease-fire. We already have proof of this, and Arafat did the same in years past. It's not new except for the cerebrally challenged, like yourself. Do you know that the UN could NOT prove that human rights abuses by Israel were taking place, because despite claims of starvation all Gazans looked pretty healthy AND were smuggling car parts, weapons, viagra, animals for the zoo...but not food? Did you know that Hamas employs children into its ranks and uses them to retrieve rocket launchers? Did you know that Pal terrorists hide inside population centers and have, infact, killed more children through "work accidents"? Did you know that within the cease-fire, if it even did call for a lifting of siege, the terms called for NO MORE weapons into Gaza, which Hamas not only ignored, but publicly stated they will continue to arm to the teeth for the next fight with Israel (but still, no food)? Did you know that despite claims of the blockade of food and humanitarian supplies, trucks were turned back by the UN many times for having "full warehouses" in Gaza? Did you know that those supplies intended for Gazans were stolen by Hamas to create an "emergency" on the ground (food, cement, ambulances, etc.)?

And that subject is - the bias nature of the UN and its reports. While decrying Israel for its actions during a war it never wanted, and using weapons according the very line of Intl law (as the report stated), the UN constantly ignores the real atrocities in the world where many more are killed and real war crimes take place. Rapes, murder, blanket attacks against Darfurians. The number killed is more than 25x the number of Arabs killed in the past 61 years at war with Israel. The massive deaths and heavy-handed nature of Sri Lankas attacks against the Tamil rebels. The number killed during the final battle is 17x more than ALL people killed during Gaza war, where most were terrorists, not civilians. The massive deaths due to sectarian Muslim violence in Iraq. The UN and the Left ignore this, instead blaming each death on George Bush rather than racist Muslim intolerance. The same Left ignores the hundreds of thousands killed by Saddam before the US arrived. So #4 just points out the very real and blatant action by the UN in being extremely biased, and that's VERY MUCH the subject!

You people should stop kidding yourselves. You are not fooling the rest of the world. The Israeli blockade of Gaza was and is in itself a war crime and the Palestinians have ever right to defend themselves. Hamas rockests fired from Gaza were nothing more than whimpers from the concentration camp. Israeli greed and crimes against humanity are causing Israel to be universally despised. You think the US can shield you indefinitely from the consequences of your behavior, but you are wrong, because your support among the US populace is rapidly evaporating.

Cathy, obviously you are not an observer of history. The palestinians were offered there own state apprx 4 times and each time refused. Israel left Gaza and the what did the palestinians do? Did they continue the industries and infrastructure left behind? No. they destroyed everything. They elected terrorists as there government. Are you blind?
