1. Good!
J K ,   NYC, USA   (09.18.09)
With every concession that Israel is asked to give to Abbas, Abbas offers nothing. If the US were an honest broker, they would tell Abbas that 'Palestinian' Arabs have to freeze construction too...reciprocity is the name of the game. The reason is, they US has nothing to twist Abbas' arm with. Only Israel. If Abbas can't bring anything to the table but inflexible demands, what the hell are we even talking for?
2. Stand fast, Bibi!
Sarah B ,   New York City, USA   (09.18.09)
With the exception of a handful of irrelevant people, the Jewish community worldwide has your back. The Palestinian apologist (and perhaps lackey) that currently occupies the White House is losing more and more percentage points in his approval rating daily. In no small part because of his attempt to bully Israel into being something less than a sovereign state. Israel's policies -- both foreign and domestic -- are forged in Jerusalem. Not Washington D.C. Keep building those settlements. The West Bank is, after all, Israeli territory. Shana tova, Bibi. Gmar hatima tova.

Since I know you maintain a residence in Israel as well as NYC Sarah, why not make the move permanent and burn your US passport? As far as Steven Stein, for you to call Israel #1 and the greatest country while living here is disgusting, I suggest you make aliyah my friend. As far as Netanhayu, he might think he's teflon but Obama will take him and Israel to task for being intransient. Monetary sanctions and withholding UN support are at our disposal if Netanhayu keeps up with his shenanigans.
10. The meaning of the Two States Solution.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (09.19.09)
The instability will not simply remain within Israel's borders. Hamas is a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, which seeks to overthrow Egypt's government and replace it with an Islamic state. Palestinian Arab terrorism has long been a destabilizing factor in Jordan and Lebanon's politics. What they lacked before was a secure national base of operations. Something that the "Two State Solution" will finally provide them with. if the Two State Solution will not end terrorism or bring stability to the Middle East, what exactly will it solve? The palistinians will never get pleased anyway, unless all Jews leave Israel. Israel belongs to the Jewish people, for ever!

mustard with most Americans-even those who voted for him He has so much on his plate and I dont think any Community Activist from Chcaago South side has the intellect and insight to handle all the problems of today . I think he is floundering a little ,if I may say so .(Im not an expert but I just get this impression ) Theres no more Bush to whip,so now he's on his own . He is making more and more furtive appearances on TV about thisn that. Also I dont think the majority of Senators and Congressfolks would support him and his two sidekicks Rahm and Axelrods plans for Israels "reconfiguration"
