7. #5 In the 20s during the WW1??!!
(09.22.09)
Can you get any more laughable than that?! WW1 was in between 1914-1918. Ottoman Empire was already out of the area after the end of WW1 and Palestine was under British control after 1918, Ottoman control was practically out much before than that. Wouldn't it be nice for your own good to do research before making ridiculously wrong claims?
8. #2 Your nick and your issues
(09.22.09)
I see your comments regularly and always wonder why do you use this nickname of yours 'Atheist Turk'? Do you think you can gain more love and appreciation when you add to your identity 'atheist' definition? Do you think your identification of yourself as an Atheist or Turk or an Atheist Turk will make you liked more by Israelis and Jews worldwide? Or do you think this definitions add you any value? Or, do you feel the need to indicate you are a Turk or atheist? Do you see 'Catholic Spanish' or 'Orthodox Jew' or 'Agnostic French' or 'Atheist Jew' in this forum? I think you have identity issues and you are desperately trying to get attention and appreciation.

Perhaps we have reached a time in our history to eliminate the title of "rabbi". They seem to do more evil than good. They are more involved in politics and say the wrong things.

Highest number of Jewish immigration to Palestine took place under Ottoman rule in late 19th century and early 20th century. Zionist ideals were implemented under Ottoman rule by building settlements and kibbutzim. You ignore all these projects which were let by Ottomans and Ottoman support to Jews during Spanish inquisition and you get stuck in a symbolic expelling of a few number of new immigrants Jews in Yafo. By that time in 1917, Ottomans were already fighting against Arabs for more than 2 years, Jaffa riots were inevitable and that would cause only more trouble in the area. To avoid that, already weakened Ottoman rule attempted to separate Jews and Arabs in Jaffa. But, it didn't work. Under British rule Jaffa riots exploded, then Hebron in 1929, then all hell started. Why don't you read history in its context? Unless you do proper research and evaluate history in its context, claiming and assuming things do not have any scientific and academic value.
