1. Idiot! In 4yrs.,several countries will have nukes.Does this
CJ ,   USA   (09.24.09)
guy really believe the UN Security Council has ANY real power to stop nukes?? If it did, Iran NEVER would've have gotten as far as it has. This is yet another meaningless vote, and another meaningless fool of a man who acts like he believes it, and is fooled yet again into thinking that he has accomplihed "A historic moment". The amateurishness of this guy is alarming. Watching the workings of him and his whole administration is like watching reruns of 'Little Rascals"!!
2. Obama has shown his willingness.......
David Powell ,   Everett. Wa. DPRSSA   (09.24.09)
........to disarm for defensive purposes and a willing to let outlaw states like Iran and North Korea to go unchecked.
3. I can't recall...but I don't think I gave him permission
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (09.24.09)
to disarm the United States. Probably because I didn't vote for the horses butt. This smuck is delusional if he thinks it only takes a nuclear weapon to wipe out a city, and cause mass destruction. He's sworn to dissolve the United States and put every citizen at risk. He darn sure isn't considering our protection.
4. Another attempt to disarm Israel. Bomb material deteriorates
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (09.24.09)
and the explosive material is only good for so many years. I saw outdated US bombs being shipped back for re-manufacturer. If o-BUM-a could keep Israel from getting uranium, eventually the Israeli bombs would be useless. This o-BUM-a is an arab president that is out to destroy Israel any way he can GET AWAY WITH. He can't bomb Israel but he will do everything he can to harm it and still stay "president."
5. Great Idea, But . . .
emanon ,   USA   (09.24.09)
Where is all the disposed nuclear material going to be stored? How is all the nuclear material going to be neutralized? I firmly believe No Nukes is Good Nukes, but we have some major obstacles to overcome before this can become a reality.
6. #3: How Was Your Date With Sarah P?
emanon ,   USA   (09.24.09)
7. peace,peace
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.24.09)
A planet of rebels against their Creator seeks peace without God. They will only find destruction and not peace. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape 1 Thess 5:3 24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the Gentiles, And they will possess their houses; I will cause the pomp of the strong to cease, And their holy places shall be defiled. 25 Destruction comes; They will seek peace, but there shall be none. 26 Disaster will come upon disaster, And rumor will be upon rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet; But the law will perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders. Ezekiel 7
8. SARKOZY IS GOING NUTS
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.24.09)
Less than 24 hours back he said we give upto end of December to Iran with the talks and then impose sanctions. This morning he calls for immediate sanctions against Iran.Is someone pushing him to say this?I am begining to believe he is under pressure from somewhere.Who could it be? Not his wife,of course?
9. Here comes the son
resident of usa ,   westcoaster   (09.24.09)
He looks like a lamb, speaks like a dragon. Perhaps the event the autistic captives spoke about about 3 years ago there in Israel is a bit more real then what you think it is. History that was given to us to know the end from the beginning isnt going to halt or slow for anyone of us.
10. THEY and US
ZORRO   (09.24.09)
The UN, the world, are being held hostage by two unpredictable "nuts".This is after many years of fruitless negotiations. As of today, the final outcome is: more bombs for N.Korea and a brand new one being assembled by Iran. History?, who reads it. Unfortunately the 2 problems above will have to be dealt with sooner or later. Later, would be what the French call " un wrais casse -tete" a monumental headache, because this time, the world will have to make a life and death decision. The indecision of '1939 will not work today. Then, the cost was the removal of 60-70 millions of us from mother earth. Anyone with some ideas as to today's cost?
11. Actually she is my cousin 6#
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (09.25.09)
Distant Cousin.
12. The danger of nuclear arms and the Western democracies.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (09.25.09)
Governments are well aware that the ongoing nuclear arms race by totalitarian regimes in Tehran and Pyongyang is like a ticking time bomb. No street actions can be seen in Paris, Brussels or New York to demand that North Korea or Iran should be stopped in their illegal nuclear ambitions. The word indifference is a rather accurate word to describe the apathy in Western democracies. However, when it comes to nuclear arms, nothing is normal and every move can necessitate an urgent counter-move.
