...... where these people were from. I saw a lot of Arabic speaking tourists in Haifa and wondered where they from. So from Egypt. Of course.

It's great that tourists are coming from Egypt and other European destinations where the governments may be anti-Israel but the people are not. Israel just needs to continue to push the country as a tourist destination.

You are absolutely right. I had to wait 2,5 hours at the airport, when I entered Israel and had to overgo a 1 hour "special treatment" when I wanted to leave (because of my Muslim name), but I didn´t bother me of considering going back to Israel next year. I think Israel is a great destination for holidays. I can recommend it to anyone.

Mirhabba ;-) Thanks for coming to Israel. We apologise for the intense security. Please be patient, actually many people even without Muslim names are delayed in exactly the same way. Come again next year! ;-)
5. There are some American/European ISM members

who try to snick in with their US/European passports to Israel. They lie and cheat the border agents, Their hate toward the Jewish state is apparent. They want to hurt the Jewish democracy. They will never do the same to the 22 Arab dictatorships, Russia, Colombia or China as they are well aware of consequences but they do it to Israel which is their target.

The security check didn´t annoy me. It took perhaps a bit longer then I expected. But it is for our safety. I will be back in Israel next year. That´s for sure. I loved Ben Yehuda Street in TA. Israel is really a lovely place. Israel reminded me very much of Turkey. I would say even the mentality is the same. Kindest regards

I am Jewish, have a Jewish last name and I'm an American citizen. Upon leaving Israel I was given a 2.5 hour "special treatment" including a body search. Why? Because the 20-something year old kids who work in security there were bored and wanted to play detective. A horrible experience.

Do not blame this people for your suffering. They are doing their job and that´s it. I knew that security check in Israel is tough, so I am not complaining. It is necessary. And we all know why.

I think the Israeli Tourism Ministry could use your services to help promote travel to Israel. Not only do you sound like you would be a very effective advocate for what Israel has to offer as a tourist destination, but your understanding of the security situation is quite perceptive.

Hello. I really liked Israel and have told my friends that it is a nice place to visit and they where fascinated, too. I will be back in Israel next year. Does not matter how long I have to wait at the airport. But I do not want to get in touch with any officials. The check at the airport is OK and I hope they do it properly, to protect the people. Kindest regards
