Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (09.29.09)
lawsuit was Irvine Thanvi Natas of London. For the readers' information, Simon Natas, one of the partners in the firm, is a Jew who is a signatory of Independent Jewish Voices and a petitioner who refused to sign a congratulatory message on the advent of Israel's 60th birthday. So we in Israel continue not only to struggle against the considerable political power amassed by Muslim immigrants and their offspring in western European countries but also Jews who have (fashionably) turned against us.
2. perhaps it's time

perhaps it's time to turn these courtroom circuses to israel's advantage - by allowing a case to proceed, and then filing, on behalf of the defendant, a complete case, outlining the war crimes of hamas, and israel's right to self-defense. detailed accounts of idf soldiers risking their lives to prevent civilian casualties might not be what these "courts" are expecting, but it might help to counteract arab lies. it might actually provide israel with some good publicity for a change...
3. Courts
JJ ,   The Hague, NL   (09.30.09)
'inconceivable that Hamas-backed courts might actually have Israeli officials arrested'. Coming from a cabinet minister's mouth this must be either a joke or a projection. 'Raving mad' in all other cases.

Why have a legal committee when the self-described world's best lier....er lawyer is available.

6. Israel Should File Counter Claim Against Spain
emanon ,   USA   (09.30.09)
Spain has a long, well documented history of trying to eradicate the Basque peoples. There's a war crime if ever there was. Great Britain should know better too. Look at what they did, or better, did not do, when they were controlling what eventually became modern Israel. Of course they side with the arabs!
7. Blah, blah, blah

only after cast lead they woke up sorry but too late alot happend since then if you want to sue on past events than the palestinian athority will owe Israel miliones of Euros, they were never brought to justice on the crimes against humanity they comited, maalot massacre was one to shoot pregnant woman and kill her and her un born child deliberatly (emphesis on deliberatly) is unhuman, yet Israel didn't press law suit, but I think Israel should start cause Israel got pictures and sure evidences to back their claims let the palis be broke.
9. a minister....
ale ,   Italia   (09.30.09)
Binyamin Ben-Eliezer criticized Britain and Spain for allowing legal action against senior Israeli officials and army officers. ....... dear binjamin ben.....could we to allow legal action against killer(israelis in this case) ? if killer can go into jail... idf killers can go into jail too. idf heroes are out of law? (i know that) so go into UN declaring IT! dear benjamin.....one of heroes...
10. Quid pro Quo
Bill S. ,   Florida/Jerusalem   (09.30.09)
The solution is really very simple. Other than diplomatic personnel, no official from another country should be allowed to disembark in Israel if an Israeli official might be subjected to criminal or related proceedings in the foreign official's country's courts. Spanish and British officials should be persona non grata.
