1. May G-d Bless This Beautiful Soul
Hesh ,   Bet Shemesh, Israel   (10.06.09)
My heart goes out to her mother, suffering an unbearable loss. I am happy to hear that lives have been saved as a result, but what are we doing to protect our children from these terrible accidents? I do not know about this case specifically, but Israelis drive like lunatics and people are killed in accidents all the time. More people in car accidents then in all our wars - what is being done to prevent this?
2. To Natasha
NYC Girl   (10.06.09)
I hope you can find some measure of peace knowing that your kindness and generosity in the face of such a tragedy is saving the lives of other children. Not only that, but losing your husband and your child so close together must have been unbearable, and having lost my husband to cancer when he was very young, my heart goes out to you. I only hope that from now on, your life will be filled with happy memories of those you loved and with the knowledge that Eva has saved other lives through your selfless act.

First of all my warm feeling to the mother and i hope god will give her the strength to live without her duaghter. But I want to say if the mistake from the driver or from his speed he should be sentenced to death so that people knows that it is not easy to take somebody life .
8. May Hashem comfort you Natasha
Aviva ,   Jerusalem   (10.07.09)
9. eva's death saves
debbie ,   israel   (10.07.09)
My heart breaks for this beautiful little angel and her mother. Parents should never allow an 8 year child to cross the street by themselves. Not only are Israeli drivers the worst, with no regard for human life, but it is simply not safe for a child of that age to be wandering around. I always went with my children (BOYS AND GIRLS) when they were young, or they went with an adult. It's a huge risk to have a little girl wandering in a park. She can always get separated from her friends or decide to walk home alone. NOT SAFE!
10. speechless.....
David ,   TLV   (10.08.09)
I usually never bother writing talkbacks as I never know what to say (the talkbacks above mine completely mirror my thoughts) but this story really touches my heart and I hope my words help. Eva was an INCREDIBLY beautiful girl killed in one of the most tragic of ways. Its really sad to see her killed that way but at least in the end three other people will live on. Natasha: May God bless and comfort you during this indescribable time. I cannot even begin imagine what you are going through... Both your husband and Eva should never be forgotten. Whatever you do, never give up on everything and continue looking at the positive light at the end of the tunnel as that is exactly what both your husband and daughter are counting on you to do! I really wish you all the best in this horribly tragic time and to at least be comforted by the fact that her passing saved three other people. In some ways this story reminds me to the story of Roi Klein, the IDF sergeant who left behind his wife and 2 kids after he jumped on a grenade to save the lives of his comrades. On a side note, it's people like your remarkable daughter that give me great pride to be in Israel and great hope for the future, despite the suicidal government and maniacs like the scum that killed your daughter roaming around everywhere with the suicidal government doing nothing to stop them. It is really tragic she is gone.....
11. To: No. 7
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (10.10.09)
If Israel doesn't have the death penalty for terrorists, don't look for it to impose one for vehicular manslaughter any time soon. This was truly a tragedy, and probably an avoidable one. But I do not think that capital punishment is the answer. Sometimes, children fail to look both ways; sometimes cars go out of control. In an excess of zeal to not release specifics, we really don't know the reason for this dreadful, dreadful accident. May G-d bless this mother. She needs support more than ever; I hope people will reach out to her. Eva (z.l.) is a gift that will keep on giving.
