6. Muslim Fears About Temple Mount Unfounded
Boruch Fishman ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (10.13.09)
I was one of the Jews who tried to enter the Temple Mount during the holiday, and the claims of the Muslims, are, as far as I know ungrounded. All the Jewish pilgrims I talked with simply wanted to visit the Temple Mount and walk around the perimeter of the central area. No one was at all interested in entering the Al Aksa Mosque, in the Southern part of the Temple Mount. This false misconception, that Jews wanted to enter the Al Aksa Mosque, prevented Jews from visiting our holiest center during our holiday festival.
