The Turks are correct that justice should be done. Until now, Israeli governments have failed to do that. Israel should immediately start supplying to the most oppressed group in the Middle East: the Kurds. Between the Turkish and Arab genocides, it is a miracle that the heroic Kurds still fight. Israel should now intervene and help Kurdistan become free, despite Obama's opposition.

Erdogan is being more than slightly disingenuous. The Gaza operation has become a lame excuse for anti-Israel behavior all over the Muslim world, and it's likely that Erdogan's Islamist party has more to do with the cancellation than anything else.

"We look at this as a postponement, not a cancellation," I am sure Turkey is being persuaded behind the scene to behave nicely. Wanna bet, Turkey will graciously agree in few weeks?
