1. The height of hyprocisy
Sedri   (10.12.09)
The turks with their inhuman treatment of the Kurds should be the last one to be preaching toanyone.
2. Turks are correct
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (10.12.09)
The Turks are correct that justice should be done. Until now, Israeli governments have failed to do that. Israel should immediately start supplying to the most oppressed group in the Middle East: the Kurds. Between the Turkish and Arab genocides, it is a miracle that the heroic Kurds still fight. Israel should now intervene and help Kurdistan become free, despite Obama's opposition.
3. battle of el-Mansoura 1
observer   (10.12.09)
From the beginning of the Yom Kippur War on October 6, the 104th Air Wing, commanded by General Ahmed Abdel-Rahman Naser, had been heavily engaged in combat operations, providing air cover and conducting ground attack missions, as well as defending the air space of the Mansoura air base. Attempts had been made to attack el-Mansourah on October 7, 9, and 12, but each had failed to breach tough EAF resistance as well as fearsome missile and anti-aircraft fire. The Israelis subsequently admitted losing 22 aircraft on the 7th – their worst day of the war. The only advantage the Egyptians had lay in the fact that their pilots, ground controllers and maintenance personnel were fighting in defense of Egyptian heartland. Everything seemed quite at 3pm on the afternoon of Sunday, October 14, through the war in Sinai was reaching a crescendo and a number of MiG-21s were kept on full alert at the end of the runway, the pilots in their cockpits enduring the blazing Egyptian sun. At 3:15pm air observation posts on the coast of the Nile Delta notified the EAF High Command that 20 Phantoms were coming in from the sea, flying southwest towards Port Said and the Delta.
4. #1 Inhumane treatment
Robert Carey ,   Brisbane, Australia   (10.12.09)
#1 Who are you to refer to the Turks as treating anyone inhumanely? It is you who should not be preaching to anyone.
5. #2 I can see it now, Israel and Kurdistan in the same bed.
Ken ,   Europe   (10.12.09)
6. Sorry Kurds, no insult intended, Peace be with you!
Ken ,   Europe   (10.12.09)
7. What about other NATO forces
S.   (10.12.09)
as their percentage of having killed innocent civilians in countries such as Afghanistan is way higher than the percentage of innocent civilians which fell in Gaza?
8. start common drills with Greece!
(10.12.09)
9. Turkey Cancels NATO Exercise
(10.12.09)
Erdogan is being more than slightly disingenuous. The Gaza operation has become a lame excuse for anti-Israel behavior all over the Muslim world, and it's likely that Erdogan's Islamist party has more to do with the cancellation than anything else.
10. (skraching my head) even during the Turks
ghostq   (10.12.09)
mandate In Israel, they never gave the Arabs anything and even killed couple of their leaders, r they sure they know their own history? I don't think they do. baaaaaa what about the excecution of Dar El-Omar. I don't get the Turkish logic at all.
11. But we have a new government now.
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.12.09)

12. #4 inhumane treatment
jo moor   (10.12.09)
Robert Carey: as a true australian look into the mirror on your wall and ask the question: how inhuman were we to the Aboriginal people and still poison them with alcohol. People in glass houses.........
13. Did't know that Turkey deciding
Joo ,   Eurabia   (10.12.09)
to "exclude" or "include" Israel. There is a fashion in the region of islamic states as Turkey and Iran and Saudi Arabia to show that they are world rulers. Not sure the world will be better place with those hypocartes in chief.
14. #11 what do you mean?
(10.12.09)
15. I think header is confusing.
leo ,   usa   (10.12.09)
It looks like NATO exercise was postponed in hope to avoid Turkey's exclusion, not Israel's: A spokeswoman for the US Embassy in Ankara was quoted by CNN as saying that the United States and its allies postponed the exercise "in hopes of re-scheduling it." "We look at this as a postponement, not a cancellation," I am sure Turkey is being persuaded behind the scene to behave nicely. Wanna bet, Turkey will graciously agree in few weeks? It is all political theater. No need to get hipped up.
16. hey turkey: don't hitch your cart to losers
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (10.12.09)
the palestinians will be a bone in your throat like they are to the rest of the world.
