"CAVEAT EMPTOR". This age old principle from Roman Civil Law states that: "The buyer must beware"

Israel has armed the 'Moderate' Arabs for years. The weapons in Gaza all ended up in Hamas hands, and the same will probably happen again in Judea and Sameria when Hamas takes over their enemy Fatah. We armed the Christian Lebanese and pulling out like scared children, the Christian were overrun and the weapons confiscated by Hezbollah. Any weapon or technology we give the Turks will end up shared or possibility given to Syria. Turkey is hostile, let them go. Good riddance.
33. #15 Yes, support Kurds and that will blow up on your face!
Anon ,   Istanbul, Turkey   (10.15.09)
Ha ha, you and some Israelis who are passionetely supporting Kurds and PKK sound pathetic. Most of PM Erdogan supporters in Turkey are Kurds, Kurds are the most religious Muslims in Turkey, there are Nasrallah and Haniya posters in most Kurdish mosques in Turkey. During Gaza operation all Kurds were in the streets protesting against Israel in Kurdish. Yet, you talk about your love and support to Kurds, this is very touching. Most Turks are secular and nationalist and vote against Erdogan. Erdogan's party received only 35 percent in March 2009 elections. Kurds, ultra-religious minorities, and even Christian Armenians in Turkey support Erdogan because they have their own benefits. But, hey, you and some Israelis who have no knowledge of Turks and Turkish politics are bashing secular Turks but supporting ultra-religious Kurds and mafia&terrorist PKK. Well, enjoy them then!

Sure, go ahead. Get your multi-million dollar judgment imposed in a court in Ankara (!) Along the lines of the immortal words of the great United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall .....[Turkey] has its judgment. Go ahead and enforce it! By the way, all contracts have cancellation clauses. Perhaps the Turks ought to go back and read them.
35. Boycott Israeli Drones
Resistor   (10.15.09)
They are bound to be defective or sabotaged-just like Israelis!

Israeli drones are no longer going to be made available to Turkey. Sorry. Defective? Took some pretty good photographs over Lebanon the other day, didn't they? Did some mighty fine work in the Sudan a few months ago, though, didn't they? Let me guess. You are a Palestinian and you are just pissed that you lost six wars and sixty-one years of terror have left you worse off than ever. Get over it. Things are about to get a whole lot worse for you.

I take it that you are acknowledging that the wanton murder of women and children and other innocent Israeli civilians by suicide bombing is a crime. I remind you that the Israeli civilians killed by the sociopathic and psychopathic suicide bombers did not fire any missile barrages at anyone. On the other hand, I also remind you that Hamas fired missile barrages on a daily basis into Southern Israel for a period of eight years. Israel retaliated -- and I defy you to name ONE SINGLE COUNTRY that would have waited eight seconds, let alone eight years. NAME ONE. JUST ONE. Armed conflict is not without cost. Hamas should have considered that before provoking Israel. But wait -- they weren't that concerned, were they? Hamas are cowardly and despicable terrorist scum who have NO problem hiding behind women and children and firing upon Israeli troops from within civilian population centers -- thus rendering them a perfectly legitimate military target. Nor did cowardly Hamas shy away from stockpiling weapons and armaments in schools, hospitals and mosques -- thereby making them a perfectly legitimate military target. Four hundred noncombatants killed during an operation designed to put an end to twenty years of suicide bombing and eight years of daily missile barrages targeting civilian population centers in Israel. The suicide bombers took well over 1,000 lives. Ordinary, civilian noncombatants, including several hundred children. The missiles fired over a period of eight years targeted schools, pre-schools and kindergartens. Children were severely traumatized as a result, and the elderly suffered heart attacks and went into shock. Excuse me if I do not shed all that many tears over 400 noncombatants who died in Gaza because the government they voted into power used them as human shields. Being European Ken, I ask you this: would you expect a British citizen who survived the nightly bombing raids during the Battle of Britain to feel much sympathy for the two million German civilians killed by Allied bombing raids? I have read a great deal on this subject and I can tell you that the overwhelming sentiment was that the Germans got what they voted for. Why would you expect anyone to feel differently about four hundred noncombatants in Gaza -- particularly when the death toll they caused among Jews in Israel was three times that number? Or are you just a common garden-variety anti-Semite that doesn't need a reason to hate Jews and doesn't seek to examine the facts and the proportionality of anything? If the latter is the case, please do not bother to respond.

It's like wasting expensive, advanced toys on monkeys: they will have the same fun but will not hurt themselves or the others with a simple tree branch. And of course, they will never know the difference!
