3. #2 Propped up for photoshoot
Cynthia ,   USA   (10.17.09)
No denial he collapsed and was taken to the hospital. He may very well be in poor health. And by the way, his name is Khamenei, not Khameini.

8. ONCE AGAIN,CYNTHIA.............#3
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (10.18.09)
If he was sick be it so.You probably did not read earlier articles and the talk-back from Sarah.I have no complaints at all,Cynthia. If he was sick, well, what can I do?I would obviously pray for his quick recovery and i did see him on Presstv looking quite jovial when he met Senegal's leader.
9. Mahmood from Londonistan
Malone ,   Hfx,Canada   (10.18.09)
It seems you have dedicated your free time(and you seem to have much of it) to denigrating the comments of Sarah. Why is that I wonder? You seem to have found a home in the UK,yet you despise ourway of life,so why the hell are you here? Possibly because it's better than whatever s**thole you crawled out of? The sooner they tighten up the immigration laws and keep people like you out,the happier I will be. It will be a miracle if this is printed out,but I hope it is...Ynet ..please...
10. so what? big deal if it wasn't him
ghostq   (10.18.09)
it would probably some other fanatic dark middle ages religious man, the Iranian people need to thrive to secular open minded regim, but not yet they r not ready for real free thinking personal responsibility democracy, sad but true.
11. You have no IDEA
Simin ,   Dubai, UAE   (10.18.09)
You ppl have no Idea we Iranian how much want him dead and stay long in HELL will all of those, Muslim and Holly looking at the surface, but sinfull Ayatollahs. These Ayatollahs sold their hummanity, religion and our country for money and power. They don't care how many Iranians they should kill and jailed to stay at the top of the power. And you non Iranians Have NO IDEA what happens to us and why Iranians like me should immigrate from our beautifull country for a better life.
12. To: No. 11
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (10.18.09)
Actually, Simin, here in the West we have a very good idea how much the people have suffered under the repressive Islamic regime. We know about the horrific social conditions, we know that the economic situation is grave indeed and we know that the overwhelming majority of the people of Iran want to get rid of the crazy mullahs that are destroying Iran from within. It may take military action, but things will get better. We hear your cries. I wish you godspeed.
13. Simin, I have a question
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (10.18.09)
Do you think that it would be the best thing in the long run for Iran if it were prevented from becoming a nuclear power, by force if necessary? Understand that any military action would not affect the major population centers of Iran, but rather would target the breeder reactors. Do you believe the rhetoric out of Tehran that the reactors are intended purely for peaceful purposes? Should the West stop Iran, and remove the existing government by force?
14. YOUR NAME COULD HAVE BEEN USED...#9
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (10.18.09)
By someone else. But if you are a geniune Canadian, then don't bother to worry about what others have to write.I have not seen any contribution from your side.By the way, yes,I do have time to read news and contribute to talk-back.Why do you have to worry about that? Now ceawl back into the hole you came from and wait to read some more from all of us.
15. #8 Literally propped up, Mahmood
Cynthia ,   USA   (10.18.09)
Look at the picture of Khamenei. His right side is paralyzed so his hand was placed on the arm of the chair. His left hand is deformed by severe rheumatoid arthritis and was positioned on the other arm of the chair. And these are not the serious diseases he is rumored to have. Interesting how the government fears "rumors" of his death will destabilize the country and how revolutionary guards were supposedly dispatched to the streets in anticipation of chaos. It shows you how fragile this regime actually is.
16. doesnt matter if he is dead he has a succesor
zionist forever   (10.18.09)
The mullahs are all the same when it comes to their politics. Khomani - leader of the islamic recolution Khamnani - the current guy who may or may not be dead His succesor - new names same politics so who cares if Khamani is alive or dead it won't change anything in Iran.
