Everyone knows the report is false, but that is not the point: it won't go away. Israel must immediately send the accused war criminals Olmert, Livni and Barak to the Hague for trial. They will certainly be found innocent and the report will be exposed as the farce it is. Then the three accused could sue Goldstone for defamation.

I am one who defends the allied bombings of German cities during the second world war. War is not pretty. Just as the Palestinians elected Hamas terrorists to represent them, the Nazi party rose to power in Germany largely (though not entirely) by democratic means. Adolf Hitler and the Nazis visited terror, mayhem and appalling atrocities on their neighbors, on Jews and other "subhumans." Like Hamas receives the support of its citizens, Herr Hitler was Germany's savior. USAF and RAF fire-bombed German cities, indiscriminately killing hundreds of thousands of German civilians. If loss of civilian life in Gaza constitutes war crimes, England and the United States are guilty of war crimes; both then and now. Where is Goldstone?

Kleinberg should check out http://goldstonereport.org where a few NGOs like CAMERA and a host of bloggers dissect and critique the report in fine detail. And I can guarantee that many in the Defense and Foreign Ministries have gone over the report with a fine toothed comb. So the suggestion that the number who wrote the report exceeds the number who actually read it is rubbish. The source of this mandate in the anti-Israel HRC, the mandate itself, the team's membership, and its methodology guaranteed the resulting report would be a travesty. A close examination of the final product proves those concerns were valid. The Goldstone Report lacks any credibility and has properly been rejected.

So israel's qualititave edge would be reduced by arabs' quantitative edge. Also, winning wars requires decisive gains, as the hezbollah war demonstrated. And Goldstone is not a military expert as he never served and was never in control of an army. Arabs want israel to go house to house and so does goldstone. The Goldstone report is 575 pages long, and it is 575 pages of assorted lies and other crap. The questions asked were non-questions, asked to elicit specific answers. The report gave a new dimension to the word "bias." Anyone who believes it is an unbiased report which gave equal time to both sides is an idiot. The real martyrs are those who have to read the thing.
