1. Why do I fear that to prevent a vote they will murder Jews?
Yardenah ,   Kibbutz Kinneret   (10.28.09)
I strongly fear that Hamas will attempt to carry out a major mass murder event against Jewish civilians with the hope that it will generate enough of a dislocation in the country and possibly in the region and stop Fatah from carrying out its affairs.
2. Hamas and Fatah hate each other more than they hate Israel.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (10.28.09)
Fatah and Hamas are fighting over money and power. Hamas and Fatah have once again demonstrated that the power struggle that has been raging between the two parties for the past three years is not over who is going to bring democracy and prosperity to Arab population living in the West Bank and Gaza. Nor is it over who is going to build schools, universities and hospitals. They are not fighting over what is good for these population. They are fighting over money and power. The two sides despise one another so tremendously that some Arabs have been arguing that Hamas and Fatah hate each other more than they hate Israel. More at : http://xrl.us/bfsjta
3. Hamas democracy: kill anybody who wants elections
JPS ,   Efrat   (10.28.09)
So, where's Goldstone? Where are the NGOs? Don't Gazans have the right to vote? Or is that not on the human rights agenda these days, while threatening Palestinian voters with death is ok? "The ministry further stated that "anyone cooperating with the call for elections is endangering themselves and will be summoned for investigation."
4. lol if it was up to Hamas
ghostq   (10.28.09)
no new elections EVER, it's the most non democratic org on this plannet, and they know second time Gazans will want to change leadership cause this one brought them mysery. looooooooseeeeeers.
5. A few things
J K ,   NYC, USA   (10.28.09)
The only way Hamas will investigate any of this is if they win the election or if they take over by force, neither of which Israel of the IDF will countenance. Gaza was one thing, but the WB is a totally different animal. It's possible for Hamas to get elected, but not to run anything there. Forgetting that, good riddance to Abbas if he leaves. Maybe the WB Arabs will have learned a lesson from their Gaza brothers and wont vote Hamas out of spite, unless the lifestyle in Gaza is what they are looking for.
6. Hey UNHRC !
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.28.09)

7. Hamas warns Gazans like Taliban warns Afganistans

Yes let explain that to UN and other Pro-Arabs org.
8. #2 Probably They Do
Christy ,   Boston, US   (10.28.09)
They probably do hate each other more than Israel. I think many in the Arab world have found hatred of Israel (and the US) a useful tool. Seems to me that hatred of Israel in the Arab world is mainly used as a glue to hold them together when otherwise they'd be at each other's throats. Hatred of Israel is also useful for giving their people something to focus on other than the deplorable living conditions caused mainly by their leaders. The demonization of Israel and the Jews is very useful in explaining why billions in aid money never reaches the average citizen. The money must be kept and used in the struggle against Israel. I also think the average Palestinian is used as a pawn by many, even outside the Middle East, to acquire money and control.
9. #3-GreatQuestions. Where R The NGOs?
Christy ,   Boston, US   (10.28.09)
Where are the Human Rights organizations? Where are the Human Shields to protect the Gazans' right to vote? Where is Peace Now? It's strange that various groups who claim to care for the rights of Gazans against the 'Tyrant Israel' have been absent when the Gazans are being abused, or threatened with abuse, by their own people. I still can't get the picture of the guy being shoved off the roof, in Gaza, a few years back. I don't recall any of the Gaza human rights groups doing or saying much at all, except perhaps issuing statements. To me, the fact that these various groups never act on behalf of the Gazans when the Gazans are being mistreated by their own people, speaks volumes. I've concluded the groups who claim to care about Gazans' rights, only care when some 'political points' can be scored against Israel, or some money to 'continue the struggle' can be collected. I don't believe they care for the Gazans except as a means to an end. Gazans are people and shouldn't be treated as pawns by the various groups who seem to use them that way.
10. # 1, so do I.
