In the Israeli mass media the landing of the plane with "rabbi" Chen on board preceded the report of the Katyasha rocket blast in Kiryat Shmone. Only this order of priorities speaks volumes of the antireligious hysteria in Israel. The phrase in this article that Chen, "is accused of posing as a rabbi and ordering his followers to abuse their children and infants to "correct their corrupt souls" - looks suspicious. So he is personally not accused of abusing - only of "ordering" others to abuse. Sounds the same as the accusation against the "starving mother" from Mea Shearim that she "forced" the medical staff of the Hadassa hospital to give wrong treatment to her son. What about secular parents that not only abuse but murder their children? Not interesting. The charedim are the persecuted minority in this country. Similar to the persecution of the Jews in the former Soviet Union. And what was the result? The Soviet Union desintegrated. I don't want the same fate for the State of Israel.
