3. This is the material from which Ara "narratives" are made:
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (10.29.09)
They weave fictional stories into patches of fabric which they then patch together into a whole quilt of fabrication that they call the "Arab narrative". It is time we observe the process in order to appreciate the end product that sadly many around the world fall for.
4. I climb back on the chair & dry my eyes from laughter tears
Tony ,   Israel   (10.29.09)
what a funny guy 'Silyman' is, and a national president, to boot!
5. and this is why lebanon is such a basket case of a state
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (10.29.09)
i guess i'd be paranoid and delusional if i lived in such dysfunction, too. no problem though, we can live free lives here while they have to live under hizbullah's/syria's/iran's thumbs.
6. talk about
Barney ,   USA   (10.29.09)
delusional paranoia. i guess the Jews were also behind the holocaust. the mentality of Israel's neighbors is beyond comprehension. It wouldn't even be believable in a Monty Python skit.
7. Wow! Piss now at work ? lol

I wouldnt be surprised if they were behind it. Israel is known for playing dirty little games...
12. Suleiman a syrian agent
dovdevan ,   ashdod,israel   (10.29.09)
lebanese governement is more and more ridiculous ! they choose the solution of accusing israel it preserve them from confronting hezbollah and its arsenal that they are even scared to pronounce the word ! i think this state is a pure exemple of what can be a multi ethnic group in the middle east some marronite share some views with the west the shiite are with Iran the sunni are lead by the saudis ! every community is looking for its own interest !! and syria has the upper hand on lebanon !!
13. Yes we shoot us rckets on daily base just to have an Alibi
Dani ,   Amsterdam NL   (10.29.09)
To strike you down as we did in Sderot for Eight Years. Suleiman is not able to manage his country. He have a Problem is with Hezbollah not with Israel.
14. reality check in order
Lebanese ,   beirut, lebanon   (10.29.09)
it is jaw-dropping to read such comments from people that claim to be citizens of a decent, modern and powerful state. I am sorry, but i'm not impressed. (to say the least). As a lebanese citizen, i can't claim that we have the best hand dealt out for us here, but non-the-less, with all the internal tug wars we have here, we still have a clear head as to what Israel is or isn't capable of doing, and the recent rocket launch doesn't fall too far from tactics that the descendants of Irgun and Haganeh militias are more than capable of performing. As to all the talk about Hizballah, i find it very fascinating that any Israeli citizen or official can kid himself into believing that we will ever have a problem with hizballah's actions as long as israeli planes "grace" our skies with their daily violation. Our problems with them will NEVER top our problem with you.
15. And of course besides arabs, haaretz will believe it!

17. #14 - well said but will fall on extremely deluded ears

they truly believe the nonsense they write
18. Lebanon...Gaza...Somalia...Sudan...democracy...LOL!

19. Israel's double dealing
Robert Carey ,   Brisbane, Australia   (10.29.09)
#14 You are right in your assessment of Israel's behaviour. With the imminent discussion on Israel's war crimes in Gaza it is probably an unsophisticated attempt at diverting attention away. It wouldn't be the first time.
20. Classic.
BK   (10.29.09)
21. #14 Your problems with us are caused by our problems with U.
BK   (10.29.09)
The planes fly over for a reason. Get rid of your Katusha rockets and watch our planes magically disappear.
22. # 3 is right. You can see already the fantastic Arab stories
Ruth ,   Halifax, ON Canada   (10.29.09)
being woven right here at the thread. It is no wonder that if this is how the Arabs treat reality they are where they are, living in the Middle Ages in terms of their mindset and behavior.
23. too many hahaha's and lol's
Lebanese ,   beirut, lebanon   (10.29.09)
i really don't see the humor in all this, but i guess you do. Good for you, we'll see how much fun you have when you start hearing all the "Israel-opposing" voices that are on the rise internationally not mention internally (ie, inside Israel itself). It would be a much better investment to spend your time on the internet educating yourself about what is REALLY going on in the world instead of limiting your internet usage to lol's and smiley faces. Arrogance and denial will not make things better for you now or ever. As to you #16, i would like to correct your notion of "Arab Backwaters", the sad fact the we have a bunch of tyrants running some of the most powerful arab countries is in NO way an indication on what the average modern, educated Arab citizen, who strongly believe that the future of Arab countries will be on the Palestinian side, not the other way around. Please do not be fooled by a few "peace treaties" signed with Israel in the past decades. Israel's policies have always relied on people's ignorance and fortunately for us (not you), things are changing, and the sooner you realize it and act upon the better the outcome for everybody is. #4: I am glad you have picked yourself up from your chair.. when you're done with all the laughing and kicking.. maybe, you can spend a couple of minutes looking through lebanese newspapers archives in the past year and touch up on all the arrests that happened in leabnon in the recent months concerning Israeli agents and their "brilliant" works in southern Lebanon.
24. uuummm Hezbollah-affiliated paper
Galut ,   selah   (10.29.09)
In interview to Hezbollah-affiliated paper, President Michel Suleiman says 'Israeli agent' responsible for Tuesday Katyusha rocket fired from south Lebanon, adds attack 'an excuse for Israel to violate sovereignty' ============== gotta keep hezbollah happy ...he won't be prez long if he don't.... and that realy where its at.... ===== say things like this often enough and long enough ... the gulible will believe it
25. to #21
Lebanese ,   beirut, lebanon   (10.29.09)
you are lucky if you have brilliantly cracked the code of Arab-Israeli conflict. You can't be any more at fault if you choose to believe the reasoning of you own government, you think that katyusha's are the problem here? you reminded me of a clip i saw on youtube not too long ago entitled "Israel: shameless and deluded". Listen, in a nutshell, I will assume that the Palestinians are Israel's responsibility since Israel occupies most of their territory. Having said that, if Israel chooses to keep playing the role of the "abuser" when it comes to dealing with people living on grounds that they control, you can't expect to have neighbors that will cheer you. Angry neighbors and flying katyusha's are they least you could expect..
26. to #14 the names you mentioned of Israeli orgs r wrong
ghostq   (10.29.09)
at least when you copy and paste try to hide crutial errors in your data, oh nearly forgot these orgs don't exist anymore. it's been 61 years that they r not active and this rocket fell last week. sheesh arabs and time I think swatch(watch compeny) can make bundle in the ME.
27. to #17 lol keep ignoring it and see
ghostq   (10.29.09)
how the next rockets will be in london, it will be fun rerun.
28. A Thousands Nights and One Night was written by Arbs, no?
Roger ,   Paris, France   (10.29.09)
I can only assume some among them wish to add more "nights" to their literature instead of dealing with reality and cleanse their countries and societies of those elements that keep them in the backwardness of many hundreds of years. I truly feel sorry for the average person on the street, very sorry indeed.
29. to #25 every stroy got 2 sides when
ghostq   (10.29.09)
you ignor hte israeli side you incorage war, not much man of peace r you, just don't cry when palis will drage you to second war, you haven't learned nothing from last events. free advise when the retaliate fire will boom lebanoon duck for cover.
30. Lebanon is right
Desiree ,   Allentown, usa   (10.29.09)
Israel is known to use the "false flag" and w/their prescence in south lebanon would be true to them firing that rocket, for they are itching for another war. I am an American and ashamed at the u.s.a governtment for supporting this disgusting and brutal occupation as Israel. And for all you who obviously are not educated watch this: If Americans Knew What Israel Is Doing! VIDEO ...on youtube
