1. nutter
deee ,   israel   (11.01.09)
another american settler nutter
2. 1997?
om ,   israel   (11.01.09)
So he's been carrying out attacks since before he even lived here? Does nobody else find that odd? It just seems a bit too convenient that this one guy is guilty of every unsolved case that was assumed to involve a religious extremist...
3. 2002 or 1997????
Alon Frank ,   Beth Shemesh,Israel   (11.01.09)
Please make up your mind. According to the article he made aliyah in 2002. Another excuse to hate the national religious jews before the Rabin carnaval ????
4. sure thing a nutter who carries out premeditated hate crimes
& murders   (11.01.09)
5. Digusting. So freakin what? So now we are going to ...
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (11.01.09)
forgive terrorism by having sympathy for why the terrorist acted the way he did? If an arab civilian is killed or injured by the IDF, then we are going to sympathize with his brother in law when he blows up a mall? Or are we going to start calling brara like this "freedom fighters?" What complete and utter bullshit. This bastard needs to rot in jail.
6. ay! learn 2 read he came carried out terrorism...
(11.01.09)
and went back to America got into trouble there and then immigrated to Israel in 2000. this guy is just trouble for the whole system!
7. sounds like somebody is in denial
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (11.01.09)
seems this terrorist doesn't really care about much of anything but himself.
8. It is not proven that he killed anyone yet. We know people
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.01.09)
confess to anything under police pressure and he was not allowed to meet with a lawyer. We DO know Marwan Bargooti killed five people and is living quite comfortably in a jail cell and looking to be traded for a kidnapped soldier. Are you condemning all the arab murderers as much as this guy who is not convicted of anything and who may be a nut case that pleaded guilty to things he didn't do? How well would any of you do under police interrogation with no access to a lawyer?
9. Deeply Affected? How does that explain 1997?!
Jameel @ The Muqata ,   The Muqata   (11.01.09)
If he was only "deeply affected" when his brother-in-law, Avitan, was seriously injured in a shooting attack 9 months ago, how does that explain the: • The 1997 murder of an east Jerusalem taxi driver • The 1997 murders of a Palestinian shepherd south of Mount Hebron Did he go back in a time machine? 10. Israelis, in general, and Talkbackers
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (11.01.09)
in particular, even non-Israelis, are quick to judge based on media pronouncements as well as their own preconceived conceptions (bias) about events. I see it is occurring in this case. At this point, we are left to speculations so we should be cautious about our judgements. This would be true whether the alleged assailant was Jewish, as in this case, or Muslim. The legal system is normally slow but hopefully very thorough.
11. NOT permitted to see his lawyer of family Nor even indicted
GET REAL ,   USA   (11.01.09)
AND HE IS BEING TREATED AS QUILTY! SHAME OF LEFTIST YNET!
12. Wait
Daniel ,   Israel   (11.02.09)
Let's wait for the trial and verdict. The police have made mistakes in the past, so let's wait for more proof in this case.
13. His Lawyer Say He Is Unstable Mentally
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (11.02.09)
and has confessed to a crime that the police know he did not commit, the Tel Aviv club murders. He has been denied access to his lawyer and his lawyer telling him of his rights, and held without psychiatric evaluation for weeks. This is a complete and utter travesty of justice. Disgusting.
