1. Dear Israel Radio,
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (11.03.09)
If "offensive to certain segments of the population" is a criteria, please note that the fact that you broadcast on our holy Shabbos and Yomim Tovim is offensive to me. Thank you,
2. This is not good, I don't like it but if it's legal well...
(11.03.09)
then nothing to be done about it. However if it isn't legal well then given that Reshet Bet is supported by the IBA tax that all citizens pay then the advert must be taken off the air.
3. Who's the extremist?
Yaniv ,   Israel   (11.03.09)
Kadima throws out thousands of Jews from their homes and instead of peace more rockets than ever before comes out of Gaza. Kahane wants to throw out Arabs instead of Jews and he's called an extremist. The leftist defeatist propaganda and criminal violations of the Jewish right to this land is sickening. We won the wars and instead of acting like winners and dictating the terms of surrender to the losing side, we bow down to the enemy and give them land. Only Jews do that, no Gentile nation that ever won a war gave land to the loser.
4. Kahane Lives! Jewish Idea Lives!
Another Kahanist ,   Lod, Israel   (11.03.09)
Compared to corrupt pseudo-rabbis, leftist traitors & other Israeli & diaspora 'goods', Rav Kahane & his ideas are light in the night! Rak 'KACH'!
5. The Advertisment.
Philip ,   Afula, Israel   (11.03.09)
You could make this up.....
6. In the past
(11.03.09)
Kahane was considered "out of bounds" because he advocated ethnic cleansing. Ethnic cleansing has now been sanctified by the Left and declared legal by the Israeli courts. There is no reason to condemn Kahane anymore.
7. Rabin murders 16 Jews on the Altalena
Yaniv ,   Israel   (11.03.09)
and he gets a memorial. Kahane TALKED about throwing out Arabs, whereas Kadima violently evicted thousands of Jews from their homes. Then Kahane is murdered by an Arab and he doesn't deserve a memorial. The left is in other words saying this the Arab murder of a Jew who loved his people was justified. What is extremism? Answer: Forcing with violence a two-state solution that is yet only a theory, not a historical fact. And don't know about you, but that seems a lot more extreme than deporting Arabs.
8. KAHANE TZEDEK
KACH 613 ,   JUDAH, ISREAL   (11.03.09)
He was the greatest man to ever step foot into the Knesset. Now that we all see he was right we should all start to fallow in his ways. R’ Kahane did everything out of love for Klal Yisrel and never did anything for personal gain like the most of the Knesset. We need another Kahane lets hope its you Ben Ari.
9. Rabin was also contraversial
Besalel ,   Great Neck, NY   (11.03.09)
Kahane and Rabin both took views that each believed will help Jews. Neither one was supported wholeheartedly and both faced harsh critism. Both were killed unjustly for their views and both did everything they did because they loved Israel and the Jews. If we can memorialize Rabin we can memorialize Kahane, too.
10. the radical israeli left is the enemy of the people!
left = brainwashers   (11.03.09)
11. #4 if he lives then y bother w/a memorial service?
just a question   (11.03.09)
12. Kahane
Sara   (11.03.09)
His methods were not the most popular, but he loved all Jews and he loved this country. He also saw what many refuse to see--the arabs are not stupid or weak--they want all of Israel and will use any means necessary to get it. Guess what people--Kahane was right. And if anyone thinks throwing another 300,000 Jews out of their homes will solve the problem, well I hope you'll enjoy bowing to mecca 5 times a day--that is if they let you live.
13. #11 His legacy lives, stupid
Yaniv ,   Israel   (11.03.09)
14. I have yet to read responses. Why the furror?
Maayan ,   Israel   (11.03.09)
Why is it a sin to be a good Jew/Israel loving man who was only telling the truth at the time? We are now experincing what he predicted no?What was wrong in saying the Arabs to Arabia and free Israel from the clutches of Islamofascism? Was it a sin?Who really KILLED him,is what I want to know.I have my suspicions of course, but will not openly decllare it here.
15. Rabin was also controversial by Besalel NY
Maayan ,   Israel   (11.03.09)
Predictions coming true. Yes Besalel. ,You wrote:Kahane and Rabin both took views that each believed will help Jews. Neither one was supported wholeheartedly and both faced harsh critism. Both were killed unjustly for their views and both did everything they did because they loved Israel and the Jews. If we can memorialize Rabin we can memorialize Kahane, too. Absolutely but with an addition: being that kahane really loved/cared deeply for his country/people and saw the troubles brewing then. And are we not seeing it now?do we need a seer or drawing to understand what he said was true? Why object to remembrancing his death
16. YOU GOT TO LOVE THIS COUNTRY
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (11.03.09)
What a bunch of hypocrites at IBA, while they pocket enormous salaries from our tax money and allow Anarchists and traitors to advertise freely. All I can say is that we are a bunch of freiers being taken for a ride by a bunch of riff raff with double standards. In the end we only have ourselves to blame for getting screwed so royally by these jerks. They get away with it and that fits right in with the new Israeli low class attitude. Long live Zionism a true stain on our people.
17. #13 u mean legacy of calling those who disagree w/u stupid?
(11.03.09)
like is this the way you honor the memory of this so-called leader! Wow! I can only imagine what u would write if like u didn't like him!
18. animal farm israeli style
Menshu   (11.03.09)
rabin good, kahane baaaaaaaad rabin gooooooooood, kahane baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad
19. #17 a stupid remark is not a disagreement
Yaniv ,   Israel   (11.03.09)
To disagree about something you must first have an argument. What was your argument?
20. Kach is banned from Knesset....
Leo ,   USA   (11.03.09)
21. A shame and a disgrace in "the only democracy in the ME"
USA   (11.03.09)
"I know who real racists are" said this Jewish martyr. The liftist, Mapai and Mapam. The leftists are vicious towards any desent, towards any other opinion and policies except their own. This may have been gunned down by an Arab, but it was the leftists, who really murdered him. The ones who say let's talk to Hamas and Abbas about "peace" prevented this man from speaking to his own people in his own land, what a shame and a disgrace. Yes they are terrified of Meir Kahane, may his memmory be a blessing, 20 years after he was martyred they fear him even now more than all of Israel's enemies combined. May the likes of "peace" now disapear from the Jewish state forever.
22. I have yet to see an Israeli or a Jew for that matter.....
usa   (11.03.09)
I have yet to hear of a jewish leader who has done more for Israel and the Jewish people than this man, who paid the ultimate price for his devotion, for his dedication and for his love for Israel and for the Jewish people.
23. Kach is banned from Knesset....
Leo ,   USA   (11.03.09)
for so called "racism" while Arab parties which openly advocate the destruction of Israel & murder & openly collaborate with the enemy are allowed to be in the Knesset. What kind of a sick, self hating society is this?
24. To USA @21 May say Thank you For your post. Why?
James ,   ISRAEL   (11.03.09)
Because you wrote what I was not allowed by Ynet to have it pubished. Up there whoever is managing the takback section is being controversial unnecesserily.Or else short of stuff? who knows. I sent a post three times to @22 explaining on our pasr real heroes with names and anecdotes too. Still no dice.To think that Raham Emanuel's father was one in the bunch of the list I proferred. One day I will try again inspite of Ynet getting the jitters for no reason at all.
