It's not that difficult a question. I suppose a thorough answer would have to include the failure of the Palestine Authority to create jobs in the area it controls, despite the billions of euros and billions of dollars in cash aid which has been lavished upon the Palestine Authority. A thorough answer should also include some mention of the intifada and the riots which have become a weekly "event." Random attacks on Israeli civilians; terrorist activities; years of suicide bombings ..... That pretty much covers it. These laborers need to be grateful that they have employment in Israel, at excellent wages. Forty percent of the available Arab workforce in the West Bank is unemployed. The Palestinians sowed the wind a long time ago. They lose the right to complain when they have to reap the inevitable whirlwind. Dress warmer. Bring an umbrella.

Why should Israel not only provide jobs for these people, but at their expense, give them better conditions in which to wait for the security checks that are necessary thanks to their murderous brethren?? My son-in-law, who has to pay Israeli taxes is a construction worker/manager and says he can't get work because they (the Arabs) work so cheaply because living expenses (for them) are so low compared to the average Israeli Jew. And the Arabs are missing nothing. But now we have to feel sorry for them in addition to the fact that they take so many jobs away from Israeli Jews. This is certainly a need and surely creating a State in the making requires you creat infurstructure, economy is one great need, providing jobs is another. It would benefit them far greater, create Palestinian cohesion and unity. Create jobs in and within the community is creating community.
