All wars that Israel has waged have been just, forced upon it by the Arab leaders. War involves life-and-death situations; mistakes are made and innocents inevitably die. But in maintaining our moral standards, we should never forget that the IDF is an army of the people and we are also obliged to ensure that we do not go to the other extreme and endanger the lives of our soldiers by preventing them from defending themselves. the questioning had to wait till now? Did the police just found out about possible misdeeds or is it that Israel's conscience works only when under duress?
