31. Weapons destined to Hezbollah...
Marco ,   Spain   (11.04.09)
I guess if there were weapons on that ship and that those weapons were destined to Hezbollah, then Hezbollah wont reach the 200,000 missile mark this week. It will probably have to wait a few more weeks. You people in Israel can breath a little bit easier till then!
32. Now we have a serious event: U.N. DEAD SILENT.
Taipan ,   Australia   (11.04.09)
Say no more. An utter disgrace.
33. Jews,you are not permitted to defend yourselves
CON ,   UN,EU,US   (11.04.09)
The Community of Nations (CON) has determined that it is illegal for you to build homes on your land as it is offensive to your defeated enemies. We have no problem with the Islamic terrorists who seek your extermination ,and this is why we are silent with Hamas and Hizbollah's crimes against humanity . In fact we aid them under the guise of peace. It's only Jews who they are killing. The Community has also determined along with cxommander Marco that it is a crime for Jews to defend themsleves against this Islamic enemy. You must once again go silently to the death chambers without resistance. Signed , The Road Map to Israel's Extermination Committee.

I disagree. First of all, the international shipping lanes in the Mediterranean more or less force any vessel intending to discharge at any port in Lebanon or Syria necessarily to come under close Israeli scrutiny. In point of fact, the vessel was far closer to Cyprus than it was to Israel, but Israel maintains a fairly long reach in the Med. Diversionary? Possibly, but it wouldn't help. I am reasonably certain that Israel knows about all vessels taking on cargo in Iranian ports, whether via its own intelligence on the ground or with an assist from United States satellites which maintain a constant surveillance of all Iranian ports, and shares the intelligence with Israel. Please understand that not all ports are equipped to load cargo on all types of vessels. Container ships in particular must either be geared or take cargo aboard at ports with gantry cranes. If you know what to look for, you know exactly what vessels are taking aboard what sort of cargo. And, of course, determining the type of vessel is child's play for anyone knowledgeable about cargo shipping. Given the IMO regulations which require all vessels to have GPS, in a tight shipping region such as the Med, it's pretty difficult for a vessel to evade detection. And I can assure you that Israel knows exactly which vessels transiting the Med are headed where. No, the more likely scenario is that for the fifth or sixth time, now, Iran has gotten caught red-handed. They've tried the overland route, they've tried the maritime route -- neither has worked. They are out of options, because the only effective way to ship by air would be to use a huge military transport (such as the Hercules-type transport planes). Which Iran (a) does not have and (b) Israel and the United States and probably several European nations would never let lift off the tarmac in any event. Airstrips in Iran suitable for military use are also closely-watched by the United States' ever-vigilant eyes in the skies. Finally -- you give far too much credit to Iran's leadership. They're not terribly creative, as has been proven time and again. Not too capable, either -- you need look no further than the debacle which was their ten-year war with Iraq. Half a million lives, huge losses in materiel, and the best they could manage against a military force far inferior to them was a shame-faced draw. If that.

Boy are you stupid. A Texan is a Mexican that was too poor to make it to Oklahoma to become an Okie.

An American who seems to travel to some 'fun'(wink, wink) spots. quote"..American Citizen just so that you lay off my hosts the Spaniards ...ashamed to belong to a country who ..." I'll never understand people who hate the US, yet remain citizens. If I was a citizen of a country I hated, I'd leave. I also wouldn't want to live in, or visit, any country that was allied with a country I hated. Seriously, I don't understand people who live in countries they hate, or are ashamed of.
