Perhaps you should investigate the subject before shooting your mouth off. Why do you suppose that the organiser of the event is also the (acting-) mayor of the city. The hasidic enclave is a village of a few hundred families; the city is ten times bigger at least. So why should they choose him as mayor? He happens to be a damn good organiser, that's why.
32. to #5 you paid for their wedding.

That same evening I was visiting a friend in Laniado hospital in the same complex that the wedding was taking place. Most accounts place the number of guests at between 15,000 - 17,000. It was amazing. The music and the prayers and the ceremony itself sounded beautiful. The mass movement in prayer of this sea of black was an eye-opener. Being staunchly anti in all things to do with organized religion, even I was moved!!

1800 chickens = at least 7200 parts . 800 kg beef = 80 gr for each . 1200 kg carp = 120 gr per person . Don't forget that elderly people eat less than younger ones .
35.  Members of our family were there too

and were also very moved by it all. The chesed for out of towners was overwhelming, and continued from the ofroof i.e. shabbat chatan, the wedding and continuing right through, this week of sheva brachot. Everyone including the twenty bus drivers who brought and bring guests from all over the country, were/are told exactly in which marquee, food and drink was/is laid out for them. One of the sheva brachot was held in the Laniado Hospital. The kalla (Bracha Unsdorfer from Canada) looked radiant in a beautiful gown. Let the sneering begin. Or maybe not, just this once?.. Halvei..thank you.

I object because it is a conflict of interest pure and simple. If he wants to be mayor then he should resign as rabbi. I recall a certain deputy mayor / rabbi of Or Yehuda burning a lot of New Testament bibles fairly recently. If he was just a rabbi the beseder. BUT he's an official of government and that's when it becomes problematic. Get it?
37. #36 The female (haha, got your there) mayor
(11.11.09)
of Netanya 'aint objecting, so where do you come into all this? Looking at your own mayor and his sad bunch in Town hall there....I rest my case.

I quote the articel Acting Netanya Mayor Rabbi Shimon Sher, a Sanz hasid, Clearly you didn't read the article........ Unless this Sanz hasid is also a Reform Movement Jew and has had a sex change operation but decided to keep her name male I doubt the mayor of Netenya is female
39. #38 Miriam Feierberg is Mayor of Netanya
(11.12.09)
Check things out, preferably before writing nonsense. She has an additional surname now, but she's definitely the Mayor of Netanya..and a hard working efficient one, which can not be said for... others..
40. How clever that Netanya has a male
(11.12.09)
acting mayor . A little 'saychel' goes a long way. Mayor and acting mayor, female and male, working in harmony when the need arises. So simple, so effective. So rare.
