When I first read "America Alone" by Mark Steyn and "While Europe Slept" by Bruce Bawer, I thought both were exaggerated hysteria. Now, I know, they didn't go far enough in describing the Islamification of Europe. Sad to say though that Israeli leaders would receive the same lunatic reception here in the United States. Just look what happened to former prime minister Ehud Olmert when he spoke at the University of Chicago. A slogan of what we call "liberalism" today has always been free speech. On college campuses now, dissenting views are met with insanity, thuggery, vandalism, puerility. As it pertains to Israel, the Palestinian narrative has become an axiom in academic circles all over the globe. Unfortunately, the by-product is losers with college degrees that graduate cheering for Hezbollah and denouncing Israeli leaders as "fascist" without even knowing that that term means.
