If 8,000 rockets = or - 1,000, were fired from Gaza in 8 years, then why couldn't the IDF stop the rocket fire while Israel occupied the Gaza strip? Why didn't Operation Cast Lead STOP the rocket fire as promised? Because the rockets cause little actual harm to life or property, and keep the victim status going. It is a useful tool for Israeli propaganda. But nevertheless, very naughty of Mr Hamas.
