No, we do not, and we probably do considerably less swindling than most. But a crime is a crime, and criminals do need to be brought to justice. Viewed on an international scale, the possibilities are endless. We can start with Iran, Syria, Hamas, Hizbollah .... oh dear. If we prosecuted THEIR crimes to the fullest, the hangman would be the busiest individual in the world.

You can't exactly compare this criminal act to acts of terror by terrorist organizations. And anyway- Aren't we supposed to be on higher level than that? Although I'm not Jewish, I had young guests from Israel last year, whom I had only known over the i'net, but who were the most polite, considerate and honest people I had met in a long time. Then there was the US navy petty officer, Ariel Weisman on the attack class submarine that was arrested several years ago for transferring sensitive data to an "unnamed foreign government" (when they won't name the government that's US politician code for Israel). He's and is doing 20 years in a US brig right now. Then you have the two from AIPAC involved with Larry Franklin, Rosen and Weiss?. Franklin got a prison sentence but they managed to get off because of the Jewish lobby. Now Bernie Madoff wasn't an Israeli perse but I do wonder if a lot of the money is stole isn't sitting in Israeli banks. The same goes for Andy Fastow of Enron. He was big on spreading money around to Jewish charities in America. He's in jail right now. Richard Fuld of Lehman Brothers isn't in jail but in my opinion, he should be. Then there was Mikael Milken and Ivan Boeski of junk bond fame. These guys are as "kosher" as a Jewish bagel. Then there are that Jewish from NYC running that so-called kosher meat packing plant in Iowa. I think they are charged with any number of labor and forgery charges. The difference between Jews and "them" can be seen in most of the posts here. "We" feel guilty and concerned about our "tribe" commiting crime. Who else would express guilt and concern for one's tribe when a tribal member misbehaves? There appear to be no shortage of crooks, drug dealers, murderers and the like in Islamic countries. They certainly send enough to the headsman and the hangman and guess what? None are Jewish. Surprise, surprise. Care to do a head count of terrorist murderers that call the Middle East their home? Sarah- You keep on making this comparison of regular crime to war crimes and terror crimes, and there is no comparison. But if on the subject of terrorism, well I would certainly call Yitkchak Rabin's murderer a Jewish terrorist, and just recently in the news here, another Jew committing acts of outright terror. And as far as non-violent criminal acts, from what has been happening here of late, those same "non violent" Israeli criminals who start out with a bit of "innocent" money laundering and theft, in Israel and abroad, soon turn to more devious ways of crime.

I would certainly call the murderer of a Rabin a terrorist, as well. As is Baruch Goldstein. I do distinguish between war criminals and ordinary thugs. I also distinguish between violent and nonviolent criminals. Murder is a far cry from extortion, after all, at least where I come from. One of the first words one learns in Israel is "Combina." In fact, some of the biggest experts of this discipline reside in Israel, and export it everywhere else. My son who lives in NJ had a similar problem, where he needed a locksmith, and these guys tried the same trick. Only after he spoke to them in Hebrew, they eventually relented. Similar themes can be found with the moving companies and some other businesses. Then when they are caught, they blame everyone as being anti-Semitic. Just because "Combina" works in Israel, does not mean it can be turned into a successful export item.

Regrettably, I didn't listen when I was warned about this...there is a habit among many Israeli moving companies in the US to give you a low-ball bid for moving your household contents, then, upon arrival, demanding another $500 or more for made-up extras before unloading the truck. This is about 3 indiviuals who weren't only scaming americans but scamming their fellow countrymen. They decieved other israelis to come to america and work as locksmith and use these deceptive practices. They tell them the schemes are legal and if they ever get into hot water they move the technician from one state to the next. These indiviuals scammed thousands of americans, some who worked for them and the others that relied on them in a desperate time, when they were locked out of their car/house. They scammed hundreds of israelis who asked them for help and work and now some of them have ended up in america with no knowledge of the land, language, and formal training in anything other than running fraudulant locksmith practices.

This is not a racial issue nor one of religion. It's an issue of predatory tactics that are unethical. There are millions of people who have been swindled by this scheme, not just by Isreali's nor locksmiths. It is a major problem in the locksmith industry and it's about time something was done about it. Google the words locksmith scam video and watch some of the numerous news stories from all over the US. Ask yourself how would I feel if your mother or your grandmother, on fixed income, was intimidated into paying as much as ten times the industry norm for service.

I have 20 years in the business and consider myself a good knowledgable locksmith. Things used to be ok and me and my kids made ends meet. When business took a dive I discovered that there were fraudulant locksmith listings using false addresses that had phone #s ring in newyork. They were lowballing the prices and stucturing there listings so they would get all the calls thru deception. I spent alot of my time looking into this situation and discovered that this was a nationwide scam and it was using Israeli forieners. Ynet originally did a story on this company when it was called priceline locksmith called Israeli locksmith company rips off chicago consumers. This company, dependable lock and its current owner David Peer filed a lawsuit against me for one million dollars and costs alledging a conspiracy to deprive them of a license in the state of illiinois. I have been Dismissed from the lawsuit by a federal judge. It is my belief that this was an attempt to shut me up. Davis peers lawyer on the phone before I retained an attorney Gleefully told me he he was going to take everything I owned right after he asked how old my two boys were. It bothers me when people turn this into an anti semitism type of arguement. This is not about jews, anti semetic remarks, etc. It is about phony scam locksmith companys that have spread across the nation. They do seem to be run by Israelis. Why are they almost immune from getting caught. These cons are very large an at a level of organized crime.
