1. Sounds ok...
British Sabra ,   London, England   (11.08.09)
Sounds pretty reasonable to me, but i think it is important to not fall into the trap like in gaza. If they want to be a separate state then they don't get food, water, supplies for free. There is no state on earth that provides another state for free. Also, i think that large arab towns on the border of Israeli/PA should be transferred to the PA, this would reduce the percentage of arabs in Israel, and the PA controls more of them, which I think would make everyone happier.
2. A Back-Stabbing Non-Starter
Nour ,   Palestine   (11.08.09)
"Knesset Member Shaul Mofaz (Kadima) on Sunday presented his plan for the establishment of a Palestinian state in temporary borders, saying such a plan is needed " ...And I stopped reading right there. By the way Mofaz, you're a wanted war criminal, and the world couldn't care less what hogwash comes out of your mouth. Besides, negotiating with Hamas the puratinical fanatical movement only confirms many suspicions about Israel's role in the formation of Hamas and the undermining of the PLO. Go to hell. In the meantime we'll be headed to one secular democratic state, passing through some nasty BDS stations.
3. mofaz plan
yossi obama ,   yesha   (11.08.09)
It looks like Mofaz had another heavy weekend on the nargila- all his brain cells have disintegrated.-
4. Mofaz.: Terrorism's best friend !
DT ,   TA Israel   (11.08.09)
And this man was once Chief of Staff ! What a despicable individual and opportunist.
5. #2 we agree
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (11.08.09)
Except what you say about Hamas. Hamas is the only authentic representative of the Arabs of Gaza, Judea and Samaria, despite the billions of dollars given by the Americans to keep their puppets Abbas and Fayyad in power. The Arabs are sick and tired of Fatah getting rich while the masses are robbed.
6. Another Misguided Jew
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim,   (11.08.09)
B"H Mofaz! No Jew is allowed to negotiate away our G-d given Land. If you don't want the Land, go to America or be a businessman. You don't have to be an Israeli politician.
7. To Nour
palestine   (11.08.09)
whats even more intrsiting is to see who formd the PLO and why was it formed --- look and read you well be surpised
8. Mofaz is not in government
Brod ,   USA   (11.08.09)
He should not be spewing his crap. He is not even a member of the government cabinet. Are latent external entities manipulating him to undermine the government of Israel?
9. The chances of a “two-state solution”.
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.08.09)
"Zionism is nothing more - but also nothing less - than the Jewish people's sense of origin and destination in the land linked eternally with its name. It is also the instrument whereby the Jewish nation seeks an authentic fulfillment of itself." Abba Eban . A two-state solution is not going to work unless the Palestinians first are forced to clean up their act and eliminate hatred from their schoolbooks, teach tolerance to their people, and preach acceptance of Israel and the Jews as a neighbor. Is there any chance ? : http://xrl.us/beypea
10. Mofatz is saying (1) reapeat Gaza (2) talk to Hamas
rebecca ,   Modiin   (11.08.09)
Well repeat Gaza is just stupid. And talk to Hamas, Israel has never said no to talking to Hamas when they (a) recognise the Jewish state of Israel and it's right to exist (b) recognise all prior agreements between Israel and the "palestinians" and (c) Hamas gives up terror against the state of Israel. So what Mofaz has said is nothing new. Just a waste of air.

....."peace in our times" ?
12. #2 Nour- Censor this Ynet!
Marco ,   Spain   (11.08.09)
Well said Nour. I only wish you would ease up a little on Hamas. I, as an outsider, am astonished to see the bitterness between borthers (Hamas and the PA) who share a common mighty enemy that loves nothing more than to see them both torn to pieces. Have both Hamas and the PA forgotten the British motto of ' divide and conquer '? The division between Hamas and the PA is being fanned by Israel, and thats a fact. Hamas and the PA have a common goal which is to ease up the suffering of their people. They might differ on the ways of achieving their goals but the goal is one and the same. Today, I can say wth pride that I have nothing but admiration for Abbas who saw that he was being deceived by both Israel and the U.S, inspite of his sincere efforts to achieve a just peace. Abbas did what no other Arab leader would do. He took a brave decision to abandon the presidency in favor of some one else who might be more succesful than he was. I have always been attacked on this site. The more I am attacked, the more energy I get to continue speaking out for what I believe is right. Never ever allow anyone to discourage you Nour. Keep up the good work and I will try to do the same. May God bless you.
13. no more
mohammed ,   Jerusalem ,palestine   (11.08.09)
provisional stuff ..it is over . we have been talking since 1990 in Madrid . 2002 arabs offer is on the table ..For 2 states. otherwise it is one state . the gentelman doesn't want to divide Jerusalem .. the plan is dead on arrival .
14. Jews for Jihad: giving Hamas a chance.....
David P. ,   Central Coast, USA   (11.08.09)
....because we all belong beneath the sea. Kadima should place the security interests of it's citizens ahead of it's selfish political aspirations.
15. Legalize Kach
(11.08.09)
Don't give us all that racist party bullshit. Legalize Kach. You want to negotiate with real terrorist and racist in the Hamas ranks, legalize Kach.
16. "I will implement [this plan] when I become Prime Minister"
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (11.08.09)
The left and its fantasies have already been discredited. Mofaz is completely delusional. He will never become Prime Minister.
17. Responding to Nour and other bafoons
Dan ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.08.09)
Move to Jordan. That will solve all the problems. Do it the Sudanese way just flea with your family and belongings. No IDF officer will stop you from leaving. Good-bye.
18. foolish step
Belal ,   Gaza Strip   (11.08.09)
i think that it's better to respect the legitimate palestinian president Abbas who works for peace. israelis should turn to the moderate palestinian leadership rather than talking to the terrorist organizations. Abbas is so eager to impliment a peaceful agreeement with the israelis people. so get rid of your current hardline leadership and be ready for peace
19. TALKBACK NUMBER 6 !!!.
Arn-Orao. ,   Sweden-Orao.   (11.08.09)
AGREE FULLY ON THAT !!!. THIS PLAN WILL ACCORDING TO THE PROPHESIES, BE IMPLEMENTED TO THE BIGGEST SUFFERING OF THE RELIGIOUS ISRAEL, PAVING THE WAY FOR, AL-MAHDI(THE SHIA ISLAMIC MESSIAH), FROM IRAK. DAN.CHAP.11.verses 44But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him. Therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many. 45And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. AND JESAJAH 14., verses 12"How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, who didst weaken the nations! 13For thou hast said in thine heart, `I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.' MANY JEWS AND ISRAELIS WILL LOSE THEIR LIFES BECAUSE OF THIS. Arn-Orao.
