1. Understanding muslim concerns over digging is very simple
Arthur ,   SF, CA   (11.08.09)
With every discovery of the artifacts buried in the ground of Jerusalem - there is more and more evidence of who really lived in the area, what language did those people speak, which customs did they follow. To the dismay of muslims - there is nothing that really connects them to Jerusalem and to the Land of Israel at all. Besides their interpretation of some vision in the dream and a mystical horse - there is nothing else. Really. Nothing. Zilch. Zero... Any Jew who is more less connected to the Judaism, who knows history - knows the truth. Billions of people around the globe know the truth as well. Bible is one of the oldest written documents. Their posession / dwelling in the land is nothing more than illegal occupation of conquered territories. There is no need to dig under their structures on the Temple Mount - they will collapse on their own: whatever is built on lies will not stand forever.
2. the only fear proofs the site is jewish

3. Don't give explanations to anyone about our business
Keren ,   IL-BR   (11.08.09)
Let the muslim world complain as much as they want. Yerushalaim belongs to Jews.It has ever belonged and now more than ever ,since we own it in a war we didn't start. Take back those keys that Moshe Dayan wrongly let in Waqf hands. It was a wrong move.Take them back and let them mutter elsewhere in their lands. Israel should not even discuss with them about any matter concerning Israel.
4. did the digging of solomon's stables add to anything??
JO   (11.08.09)
The area of Solomon stables (under the Mosque area and done secretly) is huge, it is now a Mosque area and has space for thousands. No permits were given for this and the safety of doing such a thing was never even asked. Since it was done in secret we can never know. But it significantly contributes to the stability of the area, just as much as all digs do.
5. Response to #1
R C ,   USA   (11.08.09)
You could not have said it better. Congratulations.
6. Mulims are only afraid of the TRUTH
JC ,   Tokyo, Japan   (11.08.09)
and afraid the world will know they are liars and Jews have the proof
7. Respect for each other
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.09.09)
The Temple Mount is sacred to both Jews and Moslems. Indeed it is also sacred to Christians. We should all show respect for each other's religion. Have we not all one father? Has not the one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother? (Malachi 2:10).
8. #1 you should be careful with the truth
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.09.09)
You don't like lies, therefore you should be careful to speak only the truth. The truth is that there were people living in the hills of Judea and in the city of Jerusalem long before the the People of Israel came and conquered the area. Secondly you misrepresent the truth in a big way by saying that the Muslims have no connection with Jerusalem. They have been living there since shortly after the rise of Islam.
9. I visited there, it's cool cause you can
ghostq   (11.09.09)
see the romans distruction even the fire leftovers you can see including 2000 years old construction remaines, the roman streat builders didn't had the time to finish the via cause the war started. really cool and not mosque related. anyway I doubt that muslims will let jews or chritians to visit, they don't like other religions.
10. to #6 so true, so true, they don't have any relic
ghostq   (11.09.09)
to back any of their claimes.
11. number 8 Yehudi
Avi A ,   T/A Israel   (11.09.09)
It is true that the Muslims have a connection to Jerusalem but there connection to Jerusalem has no parallel with the Jewish Connection. In the contest of who was there First - who made the city a spiritual Capital it has to be Judaism There is no doubt that we must respect the traditions and sensibilities of all faiths but we must not also forget that we are here back in our land for the first time in 20 centuries In the fight for right and wrong and who can take the moral high ground there will be no victors. The city is ours as Jews that others now call it home and worship here is to be respected but from time to time no matter how unpallatable it maybe for them they must know that it is ours
