31. How about the massacre of the U.S. troops by a Muslim?
avraham ,   nyc   (11.09.09)
32. Okay, Erdogan is officially delusional
Zvi   (11.09.09)
"a Muslim couldn't do such things". Right. Idiot. Remember: * Saddam Hussein's gassing of the Kurdish towns * Haffez al-Assad's massacre of 30,000 Syrian civilians at Hama * the various slaughters perpetrated by Muslims and their regimes throughout the ages (of course many Muslim regimes did NOT commit horrible massacres; the point is that if even ONE did, at any point in the past, then Erdogan's ridiculous claim is provably false) * the slaughters perpetrated by al Qaeda Is he really going to deny ALL of these crimes? In any case, there is AMPLE evidence of Bashir's culpability. Erdogan is a nut case, and getting more nutty by the day.
33. Erdogan is beginning to remind me of Ahmadinejad
Zvi   (11.09.09)
Must be contagious.
34. Erdogan is in hire of Ahmadinejad with massive payment in
Asher ,   NY,USA   (11.09.09)
gold. As it was in news a few months ago, Khamenei's son was smuggling billions dollars in gold through Turkey and the Turks put their hands on that treasure and since Turkeys diplomacy has changed against Israel and all you see is the result of that huge amount of wealth in hands of Erdogan. Ahmadinejad gladly rathers it be in pockets of Erdogan than in Khameneis's son bank accounts in overseas and have Erdogan in hire free of charge (paid by the National wealth of Iranian people.) You can research and find out for yourself.
35. Islamist-Jihadist Turkey
Brod ,   USA   (11.09.09)
Israel can tell the Islamist-Jihadist government of Turkey to go to Hell. In fact, Israel should sever its relation with Turkey so long as Turkey is governed by Islamist-Jihadists. Erdogan can go ahead and sleep with the Butcher of Sudan. NATO should kick Turkey out from the Alliance.
36. Why are we still dealing with this man???!!!
Joram Reuveni ,   Rehovot, Israel   (11.09.09)
37. Were the 1,600.000 Armenians murdered by Muslims, Turks?
Eitan ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.09.09)
And the many tens of thousands of Kurds, in and out of Turkey, were not mass murdered by Muslim Turks? Perhaps it is time for Turkey to apologize to the Armenians, to the Kurds and now to the Darfurians for Turkey's role in mass murders and now attempting to cover up the mass murders of their friends in the Sudan?!
38. Could be that Turkish PM really said that
Ilan ,   Ariel   (11.09.09)
A Moslem couldn't be responsible for genocide. Did he really say that? Well that explains how the genocide of the Armenians by the Turks can be dismissed. If I were a sane, rational, and moral Turk I would be too abashed for words by this idiot Erdogan's behavior.
39. He wants US to break the ties so he won't look bad.
(11.09.09)
but have patience, Israel, he will be voted out eventually.
40. Turkey is cynically and hypocritically criticizing Israel…
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.09.09)
Turkish government, has demolished hundreds of Kurdish villages, deprived the Kurdish people of their freedom for a hundred years and eliminated thousands of them brutally, not to speak of the Armenian genocide which remains as a stain on their national conscience, and which they continue to deny instead of repenting, paying indemnities and beg for forgiveness. They have even threatened to recall their Ambassador from Israel, as if his presence here were a favor and grace. What happened to turkey? Consult : http://xrl.us/bfspye
41. fine politics required from Israel
David Israel ,   NY, USA   (11.09.09)
eventually Erdogan and his AKp will lose power and hopefully the secularists will be the winnerw. (But of course you never know). I am not sure how far the Turkish military will tolerate this new path to Islamism in Turkey. Israel and its leaders are (or must be) smart in their reactions against Trkey. For example don't acept them as mediators with Syria or any other issue so that they donot feel as a power in the region but at the same time don't cut ties so that when in the future sane leaership prevails in Turkey tey are back at being good allies. It is a fine line to follow but I am confident Israeli politicians are smart enough .
42. Quite so, #26
Cameron ,   USA   (11.09.09)
It always boils away down to that final truth. The Israelis were mistaken to have ever pinned hopes on that sort of Machiavellian "divide from within" game. We in the West, and other infidel powers can play that game, up to a point, but not the Israelis.
43. Turkish Massacres-Quotes-1876
Bob ,   Montreal   (11.09.09)
Concerning the Batak Massacre committed Turkish troops against Bulgarian Christians.Nothing has as yet been said of the Turks that I do not now believe; nothing could be said of them that I should not think probable and likely. There is, it seems, a point in atrocity beyond which discrimination is impossible, when mere comparison, calculation, measurement are out of the question, and this point the Turks have already passed. counted about a hundred skulls, not including those that were hidden beneath the others in the ghastly heap nor those that were scattered far and wide through the fields. The skulls were nearly all separated from the rest of the bones - the skeletons were nearly all headless. These women had all been beheaded.
44. Turkish coffee and Sudanese booze.
lobo   (11.09.09)
Mr. Erdogan, what kind of brew are you indulging in lately? " a muslim couldn't do Genocide? "----- " They must submit or the Sword ". You must be reading' Snow White and the 7 dwarfs' at bedtime. But of course, if you are more comfortable with your Bashir, and consider the 4-500.000 human beings a " bagatelle " as the French say, then you both must be in the same league. Unless ------- You believe that the koran's writings are a bunch of lies, where killing, maiming, torturing, raping, stoning, decapitating (live victims only) are condoned daily in mosques, media, govts, by imams, ayatollahs, and other dignitaries, as prescribed by allah, muhammad,. On the other hand, if you are a History ' buff ' Mr. Erdogan, and compare the Armenian tragedy with Darfour, then your conclusion is correct. ---- Hassan al-Bashir is your man. Our Premier, Mr. Netanyahu does not come close to your expertise, not in your league. Are you sure that your Govt. represent the Turkish people?
45. Adrogan isn't even a turkish SO
ghostq   (11.09.09)
no surprise there.
46. It's obvious from his face
Miriam ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.09.09)
We all saw Erdogan's gracious public debating skills with Peres. It must of been very uncomfortable for him to hear that Jews left Gaza and were bombed for 8 years in appreciation, so Bibi is not going to miss much. It's becoming abundantly clear that Jew-Hating Muslims are irredeemably delusion. I feel bad for the decent Turks that have this creep as a spokesman.
47. Waltz with Bashir - Which bashir do you dance with?
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (11.09.09)
We prefer our bashir and you prefer yours
48. "muslim could not do such a thing"
poslavski josef ,   kiryat yam israel   (11.09.09)
Three blasts rock the Iraqi city of Ramadi, west of Baghdad, killing at least 22 people and wounding 61, police say.
49. I wish Jews, like Goldstone, had 1/8 of this loyalty
rebecca ,   Modiin   (11.09.09)
50. Turkey's PM
Barbara ,   Israel   (11.09.09)
Erdogan showing his stripes and they are not pastel.
51. Tayfun, you can keep the Sudanese one
Rinda DiLibda ,   Sudan without Bashir   (11.09.09)
I beg you, do my people a favor...
52. As a Sudanese Myself, I favor Bibi...
Rinda DiLibda ,   Sudan   (11.09.09)
I favor Bibi over both Bashir and Erdogan, and i ask this turkish PM, what do you know about Darfur? What ever turkish officials or people ever done to help the Darfuri refugees? None, you don't know anything so don't talk about things you don't know about. Israelis helped the Darfuri refugees, you Erdogan, what you and your people ever done to us? Nothing. So, please, keep out of it? other than sounding ignorant and stupid. And yes, I do have turkish roots, but i can only appluad the Israelis of all the nations. Bibi is way better than those two, Erdogan & Bashir. They make me ashmaed of my roots though they don't represent me at all.
54. Definition of genocide
#15, Filipe ,   Turkey   (11.19.09)
you're the fool for, obviously not knowing the definition of genocide. ; )
55. To #54 Definition of genocide - actually he's not a fool ...
EST ,   Miami USA   (02.03.10)
Saddan Hussein's cousin, Chemical Ali, was just hung for gassing kurds on orders of his cousin ... he was bent on committing genocide of some of the people in his country ... video documents have surfaced, gassintg children with their elders ... I guess you're the only fool here ...
