I'm sure Turkey would like nothing better than to get its hands on even partially enriched uranium. They've been sniffing around for it for years, with no takers. Turkey is not the most stable of governments, has a loud, aggressive and growing Islamic fundamentalist contingent, and the world really does not like what it is doing to its Kurdish population. Why not just give the fox the keys to the henhouse? I truly hope that no one falls for this sudden display of Turkish "generosity." It has nothing to do with defusing the current political standoff, and a whole lot to do with acquiring enriched uranium, the necessary first step to achieving fissile fuel capability. Hell, not even Russia is falling for this Turkish ploy.

And of course, it was none other than El Baradei who put it forth. Turkey has no business in the matter.. If anything, Iran needs to get rid of any nuclear material it has. There is no reason for them to have it.

The idea that Turkey could play a role in the crisis was raised in an American television interview by the head of the UN nuclear agency, who noted that Turkey, a Muslim country and a NATO member, has good relations with both neighboring Iran and the US. For good.Less than six months back everything seemed alright for you,didn't it?What happened? Don't worry about what Turkey wants to lay hands on.Iran has not even responded to it,has it?You may well see in the near future,turkish full participation in Iranian Nuclear activities and it seems you might have to do some wrok in locating something in the Turkish mountaneous areas.
