1. two PALS INJURED ?
BENJAMIN ,   SINGAPORE   (11.13.09)
WELL I WOULD HAVE SHOT THOSE IDIOTS ! IDF PLEASE BLAST THE PROTESTOR AND DONT SPARE THEM !
2. Maybe if they stop attacking
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.13.09)
They wouldn't get shot. This is ridiculous that these extremists attack the police every week and the government does next to nothing.
3. What Difference Does It Make?
emanon ,   USA   (11.13.09)
The type of rifle used makes no difference since their is no nation associated with the nationality given does not exist. That means no one was injured. Once the arabs disarm, stop their reign of terror against the civilian population of Israel and allow Israel to peacefully exist, I'm sure the fence will come down. Until then it is a good deterrent against arab racism.
4. WHY DON'T THESE PROTESTORS JUST TEAR DOWN THE FENCE?
stude ham   (11.13.09)
which they could... but that wouldn't have the same anti-israel propaganda value. btw... how would and do the palis handle anti pali protestors?
5. They're alive, aren't they?
Jake   (11.13.09)
Let's see what would happen to them to if they would dare to confront their own PA security forces in Ramallah or Hamas forces in Gaza?
6. IDF FINALLY ACTS AGAINST THOSE TERRORISTS
(11.13.09)
7. GOOD TSAHAL !
mma man   (11.13.09)
8. Shotguns with beanbag rounds
Adam   (11.13.09)
knocks the wind out of them, with only external injuries. The moron who approved .22 rimfire as a less-lethal round should be shot with one.
9. Raze the village and arrest all protesters
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.13.09)
Put them in a tent village away from the site. Anyone who returns or protests gets shot with live regular ammo.
10. Would they prefer M-16 rifles?
Jack ,   San Diego, USA   (11.13.09)
11. Methinks They Protest Too Much
Fritjof Lilienhammer ,   Copenhagen, Denmark   (11.13.09)
These protest would be more credible if Arabs would more strongly condemn or try to stop the terrorism of fellow Arab that made the security fence necessary. Thousands of unarmed Israelis going about their peaceful business have been kiled by Arab terrorists using live ammunition. Nothing new under the sun. The Red Army of the Cold War had a so-called 'Peace Department' that probably supported Western 'pacifist' groups that called for unilateral disarmament, and the Russian Army would send Russians to join anti-American and anti-NATTO demonstrations in the West.
12. Treat them the way the Arab terrorists
Sam ,   USA   (11.13.09)
treated Jews when they blew up the buses.
13. Here we would kill them all.
From Russia   (11.13.09)
14. # 3
Birdi ,   Israel   (11.13.09)
Good logic "since there is no nation associated with the nationality" Absoulute truth. The wall/fence prevents suicide bombers from entering Israel. It will be up for a long long time.
15. " weekly anti-fence protest "
stephane ,   france   (11.13.09)
i can't believe this words ! how is it possible that; actually, those demonstrations are allowed since years now, ant that israel remain in this situation to face every friday all those ennemies from inside ( self-hating jews) and from eurabia ?! how can israel accept that ?! israeli became the biggest " frayerim " of this planet! there is no country in the world that would accept that every week, ennemies from eurabia will come to riot in their country ! stop your apathy ! wake up israel ! don't let the leftists ennemies attacking every friday our soldiers ! don't let them land in israel ! and, if anyway they come; do like rabin ( zal) told: " break their bones " so that they will have a souvenir to bring back in eurabia !!!
16. law and order especially for MKs.
JO   (11.13.09)
a MK is in a special position and shoud be an example of what good peaceful behaviour is- attacking police officers is wrong, what kind of example is this??? As to Bilin, ISM is always there. I would check the facts, live bullets should not be used but riot gear is normal for what is after all, an riot, not a peaceful parade but a provokocation with stone throwing and cameras every single week.
17. I LOVE THE IDF!!! HUGS & KISSES
Deb   (11.13.09)
18. Most most moral army in the world.
Addle ,   Toronto   (11.13.09)
Has yet to to live up to its name. What's wrong with protesting? It's a human right. Freedom of expression and freedom of assembly. As long as they're being peaceful then don't target them(with either rubber bullets or live bullets).
19. Addle #18 freedom?
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.13.09)
You have to be kidding. They are not going to be allowed to enter our cities and murder more Jews. Their occupation of Judea and Samaria needs to end. Send them back to Jordan where they belong.
20. To: No. 18
Sarah B ,   New York / Saviyon   (11.13.09)
Nothing is wrong with peaceful protest. The Arabs do not protest peacefully. Just a few days ago, they destroyed a segment of the security fence. That is demonstrably not peaceful. They throw rocks, set tires on fire and are egged on by the same MKs that whine continuously that they want to live in peace. In Canada in the early 1970s, Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau declared martial law, suspended all civil rights and sent tanks into Quebec to combat a handful of FLQ members who kidnapped the postal minister (who subsequently died while attempting to escape -- he threw himself threw a glass window and cut his carotid artery). That's a lot of Canadian firepower and draconian measures to combat an organization that never had more than 20 or so members. Nothing compared to the belligerent, aggressive and violent Palestinian protesters. Should Israel send in tanks and declare martial law, just like Canada did?
21. Ending these "weekly protests" is hardly rocket science
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (11.13.09)
Start with "Skunk" - a non-lethal, but foul spelling riot control tool. Grab any foreigners among those arrested, clean them up, deport them and put them on a "no re-entry" list. Throw the rest in jail for 10 days so they'll miss next week's gatherings. If they offend again, make it 30 days. A third, one year. When they see how much it's costing them - job losses, etc. from being incarcerated - they'll think twice about coming back. And any organizations promoting these protests can be charged with incitement.
22. shot
alexi   (11.13.09)
good. You cross forbidden zones, you get shot. We don't need goldstone to have a timeout, do it with paintball gun so it won't be a war crime. Adolph hitler would not have been defeated if goldstone and chinkin ran around with reports on russian, american and british non proportional responses. Then the rest of the jews of europe would have been killed along with millions of east europeans and russians. Gioldstone should not get any more western visiting professorships since he is now in bed with hezbollah and hamas and al quaeda.
23. Good job keeping the arab terrorists out of Israel
Johnny ,   Stockholm Sweden   (11.13.09)
Of course live ammo shall be used when confronting terrorists. Way to go!
24. Gee #19 You sure can generalize.
Addle ,   Toronto   (11.13.09)
As if all Palestinian protesters are like that. Not only that but they are often joined with Leftist Israeli Jews who also protest occupation(but the IDF has no problem at shooting at them as well). Palestinians have owned land there since the 1500's. Moving them would be against international law as it was back in 1948 (al Nakba anyone?),
25. To Sarah #20
Addle ,   Toronto   (11.13.09)
The security fence is not peaceful. It is built on Palestinian land which Israel deliberately uses to increase settlement land while restricting Palestinians from ever gaining control of it. They only throw rocks or set tires on fire when they only have to resort to that option. If your town was held captive by the IDF who would make annual trips homes or marketplaces and randomly shoot people, wouldn't you want to resist such graphic occupation with whatever you own? Israel already does send in tanks and uses a de facto martial law in the Palestinian territories. Palestinians have to go through road blocks/outposts by the IDF's discretion. They have curfews which suspend any activities they have and are often restricted to their homes only(which they can't leave until curfew is over). Palestinian lives are pretty much run by the IDF. They have no freedom, they have no rights in their own lands, the best they can do is fight back or protest peacefully through means that hopefully have an impact on the occupation.
26. Shoot-to-kill anyone trying to damage IDF security fence
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego   (11.13.09)
The security barrier has saved thousands of Israelis from death/injury from Arab terrorist infiltration. IDF should be ordered to shoot on sight anyone trying to breach it - the objective being to let terrorists in. 12 gauge buckshot is a good choice, or the Ruger carbine in 30.06 calibre (metal-jacketed, of course). Drop them in their tracks if they try to damage the fence. No different than trying to attack an IDF base. Deport and declare persona non grata any foreigners who try. You won't get a peep out of Obama, he wouldn't dare, not with Congress investigating whether his halt of Arab-American surveillance by FBI and CIA let terrorist butcher Nidal Hasan into Ft. Hood (which it probably did). I see PA was effective this time at blocking news cameras from photos of fellow "palestinians" throwing candy, as they did on 9-11.
27. Protecting their lands
Truthseeker ,   USA   (11.13.09)
The demonstrators who courageously face the well armed IDF as they seek to protect the lands of their village from theft by Israel are heroes. Those who want to take their lands are nothing less than common thieves. Israel, in violation of international law, is building the apartheid wall not on its own land along the Green Line but primarily on Palestinian lands and this is what the villagers of Naalin and Bil'in are protesting. Building the wall on Palestinian lands is nothing less than a land grab by Israel. For those who want Palestinians not to protest and to bow down to their Israeli masters, were that to happen would that stop Israel from continuing to steal Palestinian lands while squeezing Palestinians into South Africa-like bantustans. I doubt it. If you land thieves don't like non-violent protests would you prefer the protests to become violent? The Palestinians have every right to protest the theft of their lands so get that through your thick heads. Were I to "return" to Israel I would be among those right minded Israeli Jews who join the Palestinians who are demonstrating for their lands.
28. For long more will this circus be allowed to go on by Israel
