2. :: It is time to sideline Israel
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (11.15.09)
Israel is pretty much on its own. Israel is for the first time in many decades, losing support – big time. Israel has been forsaken (long ago) by the Arab/Muslim nations, then by the UN. While the Obama Gov Admin mouths the usual rhetoric of 'undying support for Israel' the reality is that Israel no longer has a 'blank check' from America. Even Israel's long time allies (Turkey/Saudi Arabia) are taking a step back. The Palestinians are fed up with trying to negotiate with Israel while Israel continues to build illegal settlements in the Palestinian WB and dismiss any form of legitimate statehood. It seems that nobody wants to deal with Israel any more. The best thing that can now happen is that the Palestinian declare (for the second time) statehood within the 1967 borders and force the issue. The UN will fully endorse this statehood, America will have no choice but to go along or lose all credibility. Aside from America Israel has no real friends among the UN SC. While Israel may prefer to continue with business as normal (ie: slowly annex the Palestinian WB) the reality is that events may overtake this Israeli intransigent. Lets hope so anyway.
3. UNILATERAL BLAH BLAH BLAH... WON'T HAPPEN
stude ham   (11.15.09)
it would have happened a lot more suddenly and without so much preliminary blah blah blah if it would have happened at all. this is just posturing by an old sick and very corrupt PA.
4. Bill Clinton is as trustworthy as o-BUM-a, NOT at all.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (11.15.09)
I think it is very likely Israel will nuke the middle east to save the Jews from their attackers. If it happens, it needs to be war for the last time with Israel destroying the arab population centers so there will never be another chance for the arabs to wage war.
5. #2 How many decades is that?
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (11.15.09)
All of two, maybe three? Do you count that as "many, many decades?" We lived pretty much on our own for a long time. Turkey is quite possibly the only consistent ally we had until now. France used us when it was useful for it, then promptly sold us out when it no longer had colonial interests among countries embroiled in pan-Arabic nationalist uprisings. Oil and new weapons markets were much better friends for Charles de Gaulle. And since 1973, our only consistent ally has been the US. We've went through boycotts (some which are still alive), trade embargoes, constant warfare, constant Communist military assistance to our enemies which left our army constantly lagging behind... and we're still here. Oh, and just so you know... Saudi Arabia is no friend of Israel. The kingdom of the Al-Saud dynasty has funded several wars against Israel, and the sole reason they're now just slightly less hostile than before to us sons of apes and pigs is because Sunnis hate Shi'a more than they hate Jews. So what changed again? I often wonder at the short memories some have.
6. The occupation is also unilateral

7. Netanyaho in trouble ?!
George ,   Canada   (11.16.09)
One media declaration from Palestinian makes Israeli government nervous and sounds not confident. Reading this report gives the impression how much Netanyaho sound unconfident with unorganized thought. “unravel past agreements.” “unravel the framework of agreements between us and will only bring unilateral steps from Israel's Oh Yeah Israel respected all the before signed agreements with Palestinian . Isn’t funny to hear that! Unilateral steps?!! as if Israel was coordinating its steps with Palestinian ,especially when building settlements and confiscation land. What is the relation between Hizbollah rearmament and the last Palestinian statement? The made up story with the weapon vessel didn’t have the expected resonance and didn’t attract the worldwide attention, as the Israeli government wanted. It has bad made up scenarios and Israeli BS is well known already. What is the relation between Abbass plan of self-declaration and Iran? Iran behind Abbass plan? Conclusion is one, Israeli feel the ground is shaking under their feet after Goldestone report and the zero reputation of this extremist coalition that is in power today. The lies will come to an end no matter how long it takes and it seems the time is working against Israel.
8. no substitute for negotiations

What negotiations?
9. #2 Have you ever wondered why NO peace deal has sealed the
Rueben ,   Migdal, Israel   (11.16.09)
deal in getting our land? The only land given up is what Sharon,Bibi, and a few others have given away. But NEVER by a peace agreement. Why? Because we have an eternal covenant with Hashem that he will not break. Clinton and Ehud Barak had arafat ready to sign a great deal of our land to the palys, but arafat refused to sign. All of this other stuff is just a daily distraction and much to do about something that will never come to pass. You say aside from America. Yet it just takes 1 American no vote to throw a monkey wrench into months and years of planning. Sometimes 1 friend is all you need.
10. George and Matty:
Israeli 2   (11.16.09)
Israel survived and triumphed without your help, worries or predictions. Even the leftists in Israel have lost big time....after realizing that they caused hundreds of Israelis to die under terrorists attacks. Let us and all true Jewish supporters do what we know is good for Israel. That's how Israel came into existence.... again.!!! NO MORE APPEASEMENTS!!! No more BULL! We say it as it is.
11. What, #2, is the reason you dislike Israel, Jews? Why so muc
Juval ,   Qiryat Shmonah   (11.16.09)

What a silly bitch, with no knowledge when she puts her fingers (with hateful glee I may say)and her verbal diarrhoea spewing forth. am speechless to even contemplate her dismal inanities she has put in her post...yuks
13. Wingate's prayer:
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.16.09)
"God give it to us to slay the enemies of the Jews, for the enemies of the Jews are the enemies of all mankind." Never has a peace process produced as much bloodshed, terrorism, hate-education and non-compliance as has the Oslo Process. A substantial annual net-emigration/flight, by moderate Palestinians, attests to the Palestinians' own expectations of the proposed Palestinian state. The only solution to the refugees probleme of Judea, Samaria and Gaza : they should emigrate, discretely, to other Arab countries before it is too late. That is the real solution as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi7ku
14. Short term this will hurt PA,puts US/Israel in bad position
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (11.16.09)
This could cripple the PA in the short term from Israel pressure. This is basically what the Saudi plan call for full peace and with land swap close to past peace deals. If US vetoes this will out a good reason there could be a huge backlash for US from the Muslim world. This would force Israel hand on many issues it has tried hard to avoid in the past and world pressure would continue to grow against it. In the short term Israel would all but cripple the PA to try and limit damage which could let Hamas gain power.
15. #2 Roman
Yehudi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.16.09)
Israel has always stood alone. This has been the case since God chose Israel to be be His People. Israel is not like the rest of the nations. Israel stands for the eternal truth of God's laws as written the Bible. Am Israel Hi.
16. Bibi is the one sabotaging the peace efford
Caroline ,   TA   (11.16.09)
lets leave the WB and let them have their state, let them have what is rightfully theirs
17. Bloodyscot who thinks the situation well change for the wors
Kate ,   ISRAEL   (11.16.09)
Sorry old chum,if that was the case, how come Fatah has been trying his best through his terrorists who's boss he is. Nothing will force Israel on the co-called many issues you have not enumerated. Also, the PA has been crippled since we ceded Gaza and hamas took over. Not for nothing are both terrorists entities anyway.Like rat(arafat)the first wore a "kafiyeh" the latter wears a suit,on occasions wearsthe kafiyeh just the same. These people will never learn the fact Israel cannot be cajoled, threatened to acquiesce to their demands.
18. Ron B "Wingates" prayer...Well..
Kate ,   ISRAEL   (11.16.09)
I immediately went to read said site. However,I knew it by heart without having to be reminded. Still Ron B,much appreciated for the confirmation. Yes,whether I had gone to read it or not,IT IS INGRAINED in my heart.
19. Wingate's Prayer LOL
John ,   Canada   (11.17.09)
Typical israeli recism at work. Oh "there are 22 Arab" countries" and then goes on to talk about Arab areas, the Arab empire, the Arabs this, the Arabs that. Back up a bit.... there is no Arab Empire; there are (if you say so) 22 INDEPENDENT NATIONS who happen to be arabic. The problem that you so easily avoid mentioning is that the problem is that the israelis are, and have been for some time, colonizing other perples land, even to the extent of erecting walls and checkpoints within their so-called territories. As to your "prayer", what a violent and repulsive thing to say!

Jay ,   Canada   (11.17.09)
Is the is guy you are talking about ? "Rubashkin's run of legal woes began in May 2008, when federal agents arrested 389 illegal immigrant workers at Agriprocessors. It was the largest immigration raid in history." What a martyr! No wonder he lives in America, there are no illegal immigrants in israel for him to exploit while denying employment to his countrymen
