With the OIC Organization of Islamic Conference and the Arab League as a majority of nations to always sway the vote against Israel we understand why the philistines are making plans to go this route. My hope is that Israel will get off their stupid and begin to awaken from their coma.

military response is what they want. they want UN intervention. political response would be best, even to the point of recognizing limited state and unilaterally annexing settlement areas.
5. its a legitimate option but it will fail
zionist forever   (11.16.09)
A state declared without the agreement of Israel will result in war and it cannot physically exist. Israel physically controls the land they want & has hundreds of thousands of settlers there that cannot simply be abandoned because of the UN. Every member of the Security Council know that if they vote on an arab state created this way it will only bring war and regional instability. There is no way that most of its members will vote in favour and if it did pass the US would have to use their veto. If it went to the General Assembly dominated by muslims and arab sympathisers emotion would replace logic and they would support the palestinians. If its the Security Council then logic will come frist and so if the palestinians go down the route of going it alone they will fail and it will undo all support for their cause that they have gained over the past 16 years sice Rabin shook Arafats hand at the White House.
6. WAIT TILL THEY SEE THE UTTER FUTILITY OF THE UN...
stude ham   (11.16.09)
the pali hypocrites never once wanted any deal with israel because then they would have had to concede something to the israelis. the palis actually believed that they could get more out of unilateral declarations. but thanks to their absolute schism with the gaza folks... they will actually have nothing but deadly warfare over their graves. as for the UN... see how much it helped any people shortly after its founding.
7. yest i agree with you mr qurea

Frank-el ,   Detroit USA   (11.16.09)
#6, check your facts. Israel would not exist if it wasn't for the UN declaration after WW2. Typical attutude: trash anything and anybody if it doesn't agree with you 100% like: Goldman Report; UN Resolutions; Obama; International Court; US public; EU; etc. Your effete Bibi wants to have his cake and eat it too; this is impossible in the long run and Israel is running on empty. You denounce Iran while you have >200 nuclear warheads; negotiate under only your terms; shove holocaust under our noses at every opportunity but treat "palis" like untermenchen; take US $ while you bitch about us being "anti-semites" if we dare disagree with Israeli policy; claim to be a democracy but run Israel like a theocracy ("Jewish state") and fail to recognize others democratically elected; split the Palastinians every chance to weken them and then complain you have nobody to negotiate with; anon, anon. Give the rest of the world a break as sympathy for your cause has run out.
9. ENOUGH
BENJAMIN ,   SINGAPORE   (11.16.09)
ENOUGH OF ALL THAT MAJORITY VOTE, ISLAMIC UN, AND ALL THAT CRAPS. UN CANNOT DICTATE TO ISRAEL, WE ISRAELI ARE LEGITIMATE AND DEMCRATICALLY FORMED BY RULE OF LAW AND DEMOCRACY ! THIS IS JUST LIKE TELLING SINGAPORE TO BE RETURNED TO MALAYSIA. NO WAY, LIKE SINGAPORE, ISRAEL IS A SOVERIGN NATION ! THE UN RESOLUTION HAS NO SAY ! INDEPENDENCE MAY BE CONSIDERED BUT AT THE DISCRETION OF EVERY HEART, MIND , SOUL OF ISRAEL NOT BY ANOTHER OR OTHERS !

Your little subculture in dearborn, is well known on east coast and midwest. You move to the U.S. by exployting legal loopholes and come to the U.S. to STEAL and send the funds back to the middle east to fund terrorism ie... hizbollah and hamas, your little green ribons , green shirts and the like are beakon to homeland security. 11. #8 - yah the UN did create the state of israel...
stude ham   (11.16.09)
and then the un abandoned it to 7 arab armies. and when that failed the un lost all credibility. maybe you should check your facts a bit more ... including this bit of homicide bombers from the pali areas now being tightly monitored by israel. by the way... the pali split between gaza and fatah came about because of the revulsion that many felt towards the corruption of the fatah leadership... from arafat and his eventually pampered 'widow' downwards.
