light. Same as with the other "art oeuvres" that came from Israel and denigrate the army, or Judaism.
2. Eyes wide open
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (11.17.09)
I am not Haradi but I am religious and I live the same hell as them in the film. Its time the Haradim, religious and non religious opened their eyes and understand what is happening yes its true but there is light at the end of the tunnel, there is help if you want to find it, one does not need to live a homosexual life if you don't want. But if someone wants to live a "gay" life then he/she should be allowed to without the hate.
3. Moshe, you're right #2
Michel ,   jerusalem   (11.17.09)
Fed up with the hypocrisy of the 'haridim and their pressure. They are interested just in sexual sins and never in social or economic ones !
4. So sad
Anon   (11.17.09)
I have seen it in person. Gay and Haredi, and it's not an easy one to see. In the constant struggle to supress it, this person not only gets married, but then has kids. Those who want it that way make it that way. Those who want to live out of the closet must keep it low key if they want to stay Haredi. Word would get around if he did not have a wife after a litle while though.
5. To #2 you realise gay and religious are contrary

7. #6 A Typical Jew-Hating Goy (Gentile)
Chiam T ,   Jerusalem   (11.18.09)
It is really quite simple. Torah observant Jews have been around for thousands of years while entire Gentile civilizations disappeared without a trace, together with non-religious Jews. For as long as we have been around, goyim like you and non-religious Jews have been threatened by our existance and have tried everything to make us disappear. One strategy used to this end is to revel in our weaknesses. Very predictably then, any movie or book that portrays Jews as weak, especially religious Jews, will receive kudos from all over the world.
8. actually gay and religious people do exist
ghostq   (11.18.09)
and jewish religious lesbians also exist, from what I heared no religious Tabu on jewish Lesbians. ^_^
9. From #2 to #5
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (11.18.09)
I have been in therapy for over five years. I know what the Torah says that's why I suppose I went into therapy especially since I am a religious Jew, I am also married with a family. Therapy helps some people, you have to be willing to do it. People who are happy living a "gay" lifestyle will not take the step even if they are religious. G-d created us with an evil inclination it depends on us if we want to fight it or not. Is a homosexual an evil person, no. Being religious and having SSA (same sex attraction) has to taught me to be more compassionate to my fellow Jew as I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the fence.
10. And we need a movie
nr ,   los angeles, usa   (11.18.09)
about gay chardim because. . .to inspire the religious to turn their backs on the Torah and embrace secular values? Leave us alone. Is it possible for Israeli directors to make movies that make us proud of ourselves instead of constantly attacking society? talk about self hating Jews. . .
