Obamas arab appease the arabs attitude and hurt Israel is whats brought about all these problems. In the past the US would ask Israel for realistic concessions. Freeze settlements in certain not so politically sensetive areas of Judea & samaria. Uproot all illegal settlements etc. They have certainlu never asked Israel to stop building in Jerusalem before. Obama in his attempts to show the muslims he is on there side has been asking Israel to make concessions that Bibi couldn't deliver even if he wanted to. As a result the PA are starting to talk tough because they think they have the US on their side now and Obama will do as he is told by them. Abbas is saying full freeze of settlements including Jerusalem or there are no talks. Under Clinton or Bush he wouldn't have dared said that he would have sat down and talked and tried to get some realistic concessions out of Israel. This is also why Iran is talking so tough to the US now, they just don't have any respect or fear for America because they know they have a muslim appeaser in the White House who will never use force. If the man was presidential material he would be saying to Iran this is how its going to be you accept that or else. He would say to Abbas your going to sit down and your going to talk with Bibi no strings attached. I will try and help get you some realistic concessions bu thats all I will promise you now do as your told or I will not push Israel into anything.

The Americans who are demanding a halt to construction are the same ones who have condemned the US itself for many things. They do not reflect the views or opinions of all Americans. As an American, I say go ahead with anything Israel deems necessary to secure itself. Do what you need to do to secure Israel. Jerusalem for them is occupied, just as Hebron: they want it split or internationalized just like the Vatican end the rest of the world.

The amount of money the U.S. provides Israel should give it some say-so in matters regarding Israel-Palestine peace matters. The horrors of The Goldstone Report(or whatever the name) make it clear that Israel cannot be trusted regarding Palestine--bombing schools, killing 1400 people, including whole families and children. As far as I`m concerned the Israelis can build anywhere in Israel and Jerusalem has been the Jews capital since Bible times as God gave them the land of Israel(which was vastly bigger than it is now) If the wrath of God is not to be invoked they must not interfere in Jerusalem!
