The arabs have no money to build houses, they spent it all on guns, ammo, explosives and other ways to till Jews. Too bad. Now, if they were a demonstratebly peaceful people, they might garner some sympathy. Given their known past, though, I doubt it.

The clear paragraph in Balfour Declaration of 11.2.1917, that the sympathy of Britain toward the foundation of a Jewish National Home in Palestine is conditioned among the rest by not harming the rights of the Non Jews here, a condition which was blatantly infringed by the Zionist Movement and from 1948 by the State of Israel.

is the united capital of the Jewish State of Israel. Therefore, Jewish building in a Jewish capital is a given. What else is there to talk about? Peaceful Arabs are more than welcome to live there, moreso that Jews are allowed to live in Arab countries. You don't hear any Jews whining about Arabs building on lands they were forced to leave in Arab countries. Double standards cause this to be just so much background noise.

No country occupied more land and subjugated the people they conquered like the British. They brutalized the black peoples of Africa, the Indians and even their own children who were sent to Australia! The British invented the policy of "divide and rule" and began the practice of "Apartheid" before the Nationalist Government in South Africa gave it a name. The British divided Ireland and there is still a wall dividing the Protestants and Catholics in Belfast. They ill-treated the Colonists in the American Colonies and their officers burnt people alive in churches and killed for the sake of killing. How dare they criticize Israel and the Jews who were brutalized in the concentration camps on Cyprus. In fact no country has ever achieved so much at the expense of so many for the benefit of so few! In short it is time to tell the British Government to simply go to hell and clean up their own terrorist threats in the own back yard!

The Arabs aren't happy? Oh, heaven forfend, whatever shall Israel do? The British aren't happy? Oh, heaven forfend, whatever shall Israel do? Here's a news flash: Israel is a sovereign state. Jordan DID try to annex the West Bank in 1950, but the only countries they could get to along with them were the United Kingdom (gee, there's a surprise) and Venezuela (gee, another surprise). The annexation attempt failed, but Jordan did extend Jordanian citizenship to all Arab residents of the West Bank. Judea and Samaria are non-sovereign territories which Israel acquired while fighting a defensive war. International law is quite clear on the fact that Judea and Samaria may legally be settled by Israel. The Palestinians will just have to get used to the idea. They deserve no consideration and no quarter. Six wars and sixty-one years of unrelenting terror buys them no consideration whatsoever. Deal with it. Enough with the Palestinian breast-beating and the endless whining. The Palestinians have sown the wind; they have no right to complain comes time to reap the whirlwind.

Cute. Did you think you're dealing with idiots here? You very conveniently dropped the second half of the clause that you quote. Here it is: " .... or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country." The intent is clearly to establish a quid pro quo. The fact that the second half of the clause was not adhered to renders the first part of the quote -- the one you provided -- null and void. Better luck next time!

In the 90 years since the Balfour Declaration the Jews accepted the partition of Israel/Palestine in 1948, built up a flourishing country, and have defended her borders in 4 wars of Arab aggression. In the 90 years since the Balfour Declaration the Palestinians have rejected the partition which would have given them a homeland in 1948, and have done...NOTHING. Contributions to the world: NOTHING. Contributions to their land: NOTHING so they can continue to do nothing and take what's handed to them b/c even a sliver of a state today would be an undeserved gift.

I ask everyone in Israel, G.Britain, USA or elswhere to stop calling Gilo a colony in east Jerusalem, because it is situated in the south of the capital. There and in other Jerusalem neigborhoods, where also live Arabs next to Jews, there is no international condamnation for their own building in course. Why does exist such a discrimination only towards Jews in their eternal capital? Isn't it another (renewed) sign of the international antisemitism?

I have re-read your post and found absolutely no response to No. 4 (Mark from Lodz). So, your rhetoric aside, how does 78% of Palestinian Mandate becoming Jew-free Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan fit in with the Balfour Declaration? I believe that you imply that by "prejudicing the rights of non-Jewish people", Israel has forfeited its right to exist ("The extremist Zionist program must be modified"), or, at the least, any right for Jews to live in the territories slated for a possible "Palestinian State". Is it also your view that in the span of months between the establishment of the Mandate and the British "awarding" of 78% of its territory to a foreign Arab dynasty (Hashemites from Hijaz) and ethnically cleansing the territory of its Jewish population, the "extremist Zionists" have "prejudiced the rights of non-Jews" to deserve such British "punishment" for its transgressions? Note, a response may require some historic analysis and critical thinking on your part, rather than aping vitriolic cliches. Thank you in advance for a thoughtful and articulate reply.

to guard the Suez Canal, to pre-empt the Germans and to block the French. The Balfour Declaration was not a formal and binding commitment in any sense. It did not even promise that there would be a Jewish national home. It only stated that the British government "view with favor" such a home and would use their "best endeavors to facilitate it."
