Most Israelis are not fat. The Israeli diet includes lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, olive oil , nuts and fish. With the nice weather even in November Israelis can continue their outddor exercises. Yet when I go visit my relatives in Canada (where Al lives)I am shocked at the high number of Canadians who are obese and even grossly obese. Its no wonder with the large amount of pizza, chicken wings, chinese food and good beer. Plus during the winter months its hard to do outdoor exercise unless you like skiing or ice skating.
