i'm just responding to all of those who complain about the illegal foreign workers and the arabs who are seen as a problem. there are plenty of jews who can do the job just fine, but it will cost. bottom line is you can't have cheap AND the quality you want. to keep the prices down, there has to be compromise somewhere. it's funny that everyone doesn't want the foreign element yet wants everything to remain cheap. can't happen in this economy.

except that i'm seeing more arabs and asians doing jobs i used to see russians doing. the difference is that i'm hearing more complaining about them (because they are arab or asian and not jewish). i see the easy solution, but because of the economic situation it's not going to happen. if there is a segment of jews in the population that won't work, taxes will remain high and the economy will be dependent on foreigners/minorities to supply cheap labor as an offest. it's a fact of life that comes into conflict with those that want to protect the jewish makeup of the state. i'm all for that if that's what everyone wants, but it is impossible to have both. impossible.

In my country of origin in west Europe there is no "segment of population" that does'nt work as it is here . You have unemployment , but they need to bring in cheaper Polish people for the fruit harvest . This as an example . And the "locals" are maybe also complaining about the behaviour of those workers . You can't evade it , everywhere in the world cheap labor workforce is needed . Taxes are'nt high only because of those who don't work . We need much money for the IDF too . Where i lived when a worker earned , let's say , 1000 Euro/month net in his hands , his cost for his boss was twice this sum [ taxes , social laws etc ]. And when he left , or was dismissed , no "pitsouim" .
