1. For those who though Netanyahu would be a better PM
Al   (11.24.09)
you are in for a terrible shock. He will make Olmert look like a genius. He will go so far as to throw the Jews out of their homes In Judea and Samaria. He will fold like a very cheap suit. It will start with him relasing the murderers who will go on to murder again and again. Those Families who lost loved ones as well as those who were wounded, we are talking 10's of thousands will be made to suffer again and again. Words can not convery the disgust and sheer rage that many including myself feel towards your PM and his government. They spit in the face of so many and yet they have the chutzpah to proport that they serve the people. You my fellow Jews will end up suffering again and again. I cry for you Israel..I indeed cry for you. You are in a pickle. Stop telling yourselves of a 'moral responsability'...it makes you look weak and pathetic.
2. this organization is political & doesn't represent...
YM   (11.24.09)
all survivors of terrorism. Why does this organization think that it has more right than the Prime Minister of the State of Israel to determine our nation's policies? It is correct and proper to prevent this organization from ramroding their agenda down Gilad Ben-Aviva Shalit's throat.
3. Who will pay for the deaths of more Israelis
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.24.09)
Whoever votes for this in the government should be tried for murder if any of these soon to be freed terrorists kill again. Enough with commissions with half dead judges and dried up professors. Hang them in public and call for new elections. All those who pushed this deal down our throats should pay. This is not the way to fight terrorism. Each terrorist that is caught should be tortured for information then killed. We should have started to kill terrorists when Gilad was captured till he was freed. If the government had guts, when the palis celebrate send in the I.A.F. to bomb each site that has a celebration for freed terrorists.
4. The Bereaved parents are right but Gilad is alive!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (11.24.09)
It is not our place to judge. Those who have lost members of their families have a right to be angry that those who killed and maimed their loved ones will go free and probably plot and even carry out terror attacks the future. However, we must also consider the safety of our child, Gilad. It is easy to to say that his life is no more important than that of any of the victims of terror but do we want to sacrifice another Jewish life in the cause of being "right"? We pride ourselves on putting life first unlike those barbarians holding Gilad Shalit and so, as hard it it will be to swallow, maybe those, who for very real reasons, should think again before objecting to to the release of the prisoners in order to bring home a "live one". We have done deals in the past, maybe they were wrong, but if we don't deal, then we must give every soldier a suicide pill and tell them that if they are caught they should swallow it as we do not deal with terrorists. Is this what we really want? One thing is certain. Deal or no deal, terror against Israel will not stop!
5. Freeing terrorists encourages more terrorism
manny ,   Petach Tikva   (11.24.09)
NO NO NO No freedom for murderers
