9 Talkbacks for this article
1. 100% correct. The number one occupation...
Lama Aliti ,   Netanya, Israel   (11.28.09)
in Israel is getting someone else to do one's own job for them. Suddenly, we have become a nation of taskmasters.
2. Perhaps we should close half the businesses
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.28.09)
here and we would have 50% fewer CEOs? Nice to know someone can learn this in a few hours. He must be a big twit. We have too many incompetent CEOs that survive due to people under them doing all the thinking, planning and work. The CEOs in a lot of cases just collect a large salary, trips abroad, a fancy auto and act like talking heads when someone visits. Some times they cannot even communicate in simple English to foreigners. Let alone answer complicated questions about machinery, production or the product(s) their companies produce.
3. #1: Ah, but you and Biz forget the ultimate truth
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (11.28.09)
In their efforts to incorporate the great American culture, Israelis have absorbed the worst as well. The modern top-heavy structure is an American invention. Period. The difference here is that our executives generally tend to be educated, AND in the relevant field, unlike say, US drug companies, who let the never-college-educated ("yay! aren't we better than the system?!") or electricians to run the show. When that happens in Israel, Jews can save the Pals the effort and just run into the sea like self-destructive lemmings.
4. here for a few hours and comes to conclusions??
jason ,   israel   (11.28.09)
maybe he is on to something but can you really come up with insight in a few hours? better not to pronounce half baked thoughts that are critical and insult a pool of users, investors and future "CEOs". also help me here they use volunteers as developers for their software like wikipedia, but this is a for-profit company eyeing a mega IPO.... Not very impressive.
5. Too many useless CEOs
CETFO and MK ,   Overmanegementstan   (11.28.09)
6. as Bill Gates said - There is nothing Un-Cooler than
filu tundera ,   wisconsin   (11.29.09)
There is nothing Un-Cooler than a secular israeli pretending to be european - hahahaha
7. Twitter-this can't be good.
Yakov   (11.29.09)
When I see this article, I see 2 things. 1) The Stone only spent a few hours there. Cearly no real interest in getting to know the country. 2)The little comment on too many CEO's is not appreciated. If he were coming from the outside, then I would boycot Twitter. That statement would be antisemitic. If he is coming from the inside, then I don't want to be part of an organization heading by a self-hater. And I still may boycott Twitter.
8. #7 don't be so neurotic
another CEOOOOOOOOOO   (11.29.09)
9. #8

I know I am not the only one. There is a reason why this story is written the way it is. If it did not go down well at Ynet, there is a good reason why. I certainly did not like the comment. If you need another reason, it offers no constructive criticism whatsoever. How is that going to benefit Jews?
