1. WHAT PEACE?
al mann ,   jerusalem, Israel   (11.25.09)
Throughout history there has never been peace between The Sons of Israel and the Sons of Ishmael. Their main objective has been to rid the world of the those who subscribed to the word of Abraham. They are angry and totally frustrated in their efforts which have totally failed. Therefore, to think of peace at this point in history reflects weakness and lack of faith.
2. Obama Is Empty Suit
Dan ,   Titusville, FL   (11.25.09)
We have an ineffective amateurish affirmative action President who makes foreign policy in deference to the NY Times, CNN, moveon.org and MSNBC you end up with an Obama who bowed low to the Saudi's, bowed low to the Japanese Emperor, bowed low to Hu Jintao and is apologizing to everyone all over the planet. When in Japan the media reported his big foreign policy accomplishment was to have ice cream with the Emperor. Now the Japanese PM is about to stab Obama in the back as he, like Iran, sees Obama as a weak indecisive and incompetent President. Iran told Obama to "Piss Off" to his nuclear deal and Japan is going to release a secret document about USA-Japanese nuclear cooperation. Obama is begging the Muslims to love him but Israeli's and Palestinian Terrorists agree that we all see Obama as a joke with an inconsistent policy Obama has, been lectured to Russia, scolded by China and ignored by Iran. For grins and giggles Obama lost control of South America, unable to make a decision on Afghanistan while our soldiers die, picked a fight with Fox News, made the dollar worthless, made the Middle East situation worse and is now begging Brazil to help him as he is too weak to get up from being on his hands and knees begging Ahminidijad to "please play nice with us". Wow...... I wonder what will happen in the next 3 years especially now that the NY Times, MSNBC, CNN, moveon.org, and the media who thought of him as God has abandoned him.
3. Is Obama naïve?
Ron B. ,   Lod   (11.25.09)
Obama's reference to "settlements" as "illegitimate" and an "obstacle to peace," ignores the September 2005 uprooting of all Jewish settlements from Gaza, which severely exacerbated Palestinian terrorism, triggered the December war in Gaza, paved the road to the Hamas takeover of Gaza and further eroded Israel's posture of deterrence, thus enticing Arab aggression. Life of the civilian population in the Jewish communities around Gaza became a nightmare : http://xrl.us/bfq9oi
4. YAH... LIKE GIVING UP GAZA REVIVED THE DEAD TALKS.

5. Virtually nobody in Israel wants worthless "peace talks".
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.25.09)
We've had decades of "peace talks". What has it gotten us? Nothing but tens of thousands of rockets, maimed and murdered civilians. Israel has nothing to talk with the PA about and nothing to gain from talking to the PA. Peace depends on Israel resoundingly defeating the PA and offering no concessions. Just as European and Asian peace depended on the Allies resoundingly defeating the Nazis and Japanese and offering no concessions.
6. Now 2nd Condition:Israel shall wag its tail and beg pardon

Absolutely correct. Alas USA & Europe want us to talk peace with the Palestinians.
