SO.......... They will learn that the police should not carry a weapon, Some good person could get hurt (arabs) and they might prevent the the killing of criminals (Jews). We would not want that to happen... How would the government look like if they actually defended the Jews of Israel? Not very good... They should check the video on Youtube, whereby protesting "hysterical" arabs/pro pals were running AFTER a "backwards" retreating police force, screaming "pigs" and other "compliments! That's how it's done. That's fair policing. You can learn a lot from the English police.

Some of the UK's ideas on policing minorities have been horrible. They actively promote increasing minority police within minority areas, because they understand the 'code' of that minority better. But while this idea is true, it simply helps create more and more segregated communities with Pakistanis policing Pakistanis, Arabs policing Arabs etc, creating ghettos (not literal, but demographic pockets) within the UK. That is a horrible way to lead a multicultural nation. Israel must be careful to adopt good practices of learning the work and communicate better with minorities, but not to surrender policing rights or adopt tactics like "Arabs of Israel are policed by Arab-Israeli cops" which will just reinforce the divide. I don't mind having minority officers help create better relations and understanding between the police and minorties, but don't create demographic and political communities separated from the larger state. That would make things worse than they are, since you're actively promoting the creating of separate bodies from the larger nation.

Objectively, it showed a VERY restrained police response aimed, I suppose, at containing a very aggressive crowd that was shouting obsenities, throwing objects, vandalizing and stealing from local stores. That at least is the visual evidence on the clip.

weapons, lethal ammo, more time on the shooting range. That is what we need to use on all rioters. Put down the riot using extreme force. Also more video cameras to identify the leaders and try them as soon as they are caught.

Why not take an example from New York. Mayor Juliani educated his police in the correct manner. The result? You can walk the streets in safety.

Black people are stopped and searched MUCH more than Whites. Its racial profiling but because its in UK its Kosher LePesach. Beats me what you can learn from UK police ...mmmmm????
