Did any so called Human Rights Group get this girl medical aid? What happened to this young lady is an atrocity, but she was severely injured. What do the groups think of first? Making lawyers richer. If there was a real concern for human right, they would have taken her for medical and emotional help first, then considered bringing legal action. What's more, I'll tell you the results of the legal action: an investigative committee will be convened, they will determine the police were acting within their jurisdiction but conclude that the punishment meted out was "maybe a little overzealous". Someone in authority will be fined some token amount. In a few weeks, another girl or woman will be grabbed off the street and the process will be repeated. It is only when the people themselves overthrow their corrupt police and oppressive government will they come into the modern world.

I would say that the chances of any of the people involved being punished or corrected is perhaps next to nothing right now. However the odds might significantly change if at least one person is really commited to making a difference over the long haul. This might be her. Have to let her go. Also with the people being part of a system, it is unlikely that they would change it, unless their is some significant shock, however systems are wired so this does not happen.
