1. Sounds like they'll get you where you want to go, but.....
Cameron ,   USA   (12.03.09)
do they taste any good?
2. For the Russians?
Shalom Hartman   (12.03.09)
I assume this is as a result of the huge amounts of russians in Israel. Jews are eaters; not drinkers.
3. oh great! don't give them to nursery school kids by mistake!

4. Rum soaked fruit cake has been around a long time as has
Rivkah   (12.03.09)
liquor filled chocolate shaped like little bottles. But those are clearly labeled as such. But giving people another way to get drunk that is quicker and not obviously a source of alcohol to the unwary could violate religious objectors to consuming alcohol. That might be funny to some people, but I can assure you that drinking or eating a lot of alcohol is a serious offense to the Lord unless it has a medicinal purpose or is for a heavy heart. Drunkenness was the national sin of ancient Israel (Northern Kingdom, not Judah, the Southern Kingdom). Drunkenness and idolatry led the the Assyrian captivity of the "Joes" (tribes of Joseph had more children than other tribes so the lost tribes are sometimes called "Joes"). Joes and Jews were quite different but dispersion came for the Jews, too, but later. Do Jews really want to be like Joes?
5. Never had these before the Russians decended on us
Talula ,   Israel   (12.03.09)
Why does everything have to revolve around vodka? 65% of Russians aren’t Jewish and won’t celebrate Chanukah, so the boutique bakeries aren't making them for their benefit. Bring back the original jam donuts – BRING BACK OUR IDENTITY.
6. Another date rape device for the unwary victims.
Rivkah   (12.03.09)
The difficulty of getting a girl to drink an obvious alcoholic beverage is elimated with an innocent looking donut. A criminals' delight. Oh, the possibilities of attacking under the cover of donuts.
7. #2: It's not a huge amount - just 15%, but
5th generation ,   ISRAEL   (12.03.09)
so aggressive and so unintegrated, they look bigger. The next step for them: lard instead of oil to fry the donuts - ANYTHING to avoid kashrut and make things as unhealthy as possible.
8. Wrong on ssooo many levels ...
Pauline ,   Israel   (12.03.09)

11. Rivkah @ 6, I imagine it is much harder to
leo ,   usa   (12.03.09)
convince a girl to down a donut than a shot of vodka. Well, unless we are talking about special kind of girl. Besides how drunk one can get on single glass of beer? Are you implying these girls will go for more than one donut? How do they get a date in the first place?
