1. King Solomon said a living dog is better than a dead lion...
Rivkah   (11.30.09)
So one living Shalit is better than all the dead of the bereaved relatives of the slain by the Palestinians being released. Those who died might be lions but they are dead not living. The value of one living exceeds many dead.
2. the state of Israel is w/in its legal rights
(11.30.09)
the bereaved parents (and I am truly sorry for their loss) are attempting to usurp the government's legal right to function on behalf of its soldiers and citizens. what is most astonishing is that these organizations and these bereaved parents are the vocal few and not the vast majority of the bereaved families
3. The Israeli judiciary is in shambles dreadful.

I have read the article at Jpost, and was the only one to respond. No doubt people are sick to the back teeth of the way the bereaved famlies are being SHUT OUT DOORS CLOSED IN THEIR FACES. Why?oh supposedly it is a very difficult job to assess who is the worse terrorist BUNKUM,and cannot as yet announce it.All very hush, hush. Excuse us please, but .you have known about it for a long time. After all this has been debated months ago,ho hum,and now the same lame excuses. I honestly don't know how Israel really functions with this type of leaders--be,it the Judiciary, police, secret services, not to mention the PM who has his advisors to help him.. I shall not pack my bags as yet. I will have to reconsider my options.
