The very first step of the Roadmap to Peace is the total cessation of organized acts of terror and violence and the preparations for such acts. Yet, Gaza, part of the hoped-for Palestinian Arab state, not only that it has not ceased all acts of terror and violence against Israel and Israelis, while under total Palestinian Arab control, it has intensified its activities in this regard and has turned the territory to become Iran's staging area on Israel's southern border. Wouldn't it be appropriate the before all else the PLO/PA clean Gaza of its organized terror before all else, just as is expected in the Roadmap to Peace...??!!

After the invasion of Israel by the Jordanien army in 1948, it was de facto divided and the eastern part was illegally annexed to Jordan. As to the word for compromise in arabic, i know not. But, in 2000 c.e. a well known terrorist, sat in comfort at camp david with the best peace offer available and within his grasp. Israel had not divided the palestinians. The Palsetinians divided themselves. In fact, this nation is comprised from desert tribes that were fighting each other long before Israel even came about. Modern Palestinians are any arab from any of 22 countries that has decided to declare themselves as "identified with the cause".
