Bibi was elected by a right wing electorate.He got rid of several key right wing party members and formed a left wing coalition. Coaltion members that were beginning to question his policiies were threatened with sanctions. Now, he is implementing extreme policies that should have some form of vote attached, whether it is a vote before the kenneset or the nation. I fell that every left wing israeli should ask themselves whether it is more important t implement these policies or whether retaining democracy is important. If they feel that the policies are more important, than realize you are choosing fascism and are repsonsible for firing the first shot in a civil war.

Efrat is part of a settlement block that is included in the Israeli "consensus", and covered by the Bush-Sharon (US-Israeli) understandings of 2004. No one takes seriously any possibility that these major population centers will be ceded to the PA. So what is the point of picking a fight over Efrat?
