1. its a practical law for the arab majority Galilee
zionist forever   (12.07.09)
JNF land can only be used by jews so whats the problem this idea of the Jewish Agency saying they want to create jewish only communities? In the Galilee especially which is dominated by arabs. If there are only small jewish communities and they allow arabs to move there then if the price of housing is right then the arabs will all move in on mass and what started out a jewish community may end up an arab one. The Olmert regime voted to provide funds to create a brand new arab town in the Galilee. I doubt the arabs will be letting any jews live there if they wanted. Already the arabs think they own the Galilee and they have in the past said that jews should not be allowed to move there. They are also calling for arab autonomy over the area so they are hardly in a position to complain about the desire to not let arabs move into small communities. As for the idea of wanting to judaize the Galilee & Negev for over a decade successive governments have openly said thats the dream. Peres was a big supporter of the idea. Israel is a jewish state and there should be no part of this state thats off limit to jews.
2. We definitely need a similar type law
William ,   Israel   (12.07.09)
that ensures both the safety and rights for Jews to live in Arab villages without fear. Today, no Jew wants to live in Arab villages because of the fear of violence. They don't need a law to back them up, the Arabs will just take matters in to their own hands, then claim racism as Jews are "judaizing" their villages. Arabs want rights to everything but block those who want the same. I am against blocking Arabs from the benefits of Israeli citizenship just as I am against Arabs blocking the non-Arab population among them to the same rights.
3. Abolish segrigation
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (12.07.09)
For a stronger and more secure Israel, jewish leaders should move toward abolishing segregation. All Israelis should have the freedon to choose the community they want to live in... this will promote common interest, coexistance, make israel stronger and more secure.
4. to # 1 the inciter...
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (12.07.09)
Israeli arabs have no prtoblems with Jews living anywhere they wish in Galilee. Jews are welcome to come live in Nazareth or any arab locality. Jews opt not to because arab localities are impovrished and do not provise good services like jewish ones do.. that is why no jew have any desire in living in an arab locality eventhough they are welcomed to.
5. Addmision commette
kurt ,   us   (12.07.09)
Does this apply to Jews as well?
6. oY..,let's stop with this "racism"bs...
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.07.09)
Let's be organic, let’s be holistic. We have been discussing this matter for 100 years now and we are revolving in the same issue like dogs after the tail. I know,it is very painful to leave a land to another, but we Jews know this pain more than anybody else and have survived. Let's find ways for arabs to go to live among their own because we Jews WANT TO LIVE AMONG OURSELVES. We have this feeling;we wish it;we have been looking for it for centuries, and one can not go against his nature. We have a conscient and even inconscient project that MUST be fulfilled whether others(and ourselves)like it or not. What about going in the direction of our needs once and for all, just for a change? What about stoping to listen other’s bs and start doing EXACTLY what we want WITHOUT GUILT?
7. I feel bad for the Israeli-Arabs.
Addle ,   Toronto   (12.07.09)
They get pushed around a lot and there's nothing they can do about it. For what? Just because they're not a white European or American?
8. #3 What you say would be eventually possible if...
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.08.09)
muslinism were erradicted from Israel and you non muslim arabs went to the army and sweared loyalty to Israel's flag.In such case, what you say would be feasible, but only if you kept limited in numbers while Jews grow in numbers.Otherwise I see no way for integration.
9. #7 No,it is something beyond that
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.08.09)
It is something that seemingly your limited mind can not grasp.
10. Ripley believe it or not
Self Hating Jew ,   New Mexico, USA   (12.08.09)
Following the Israeli media on a daily basis,it is hard to believe the slippery slop Israel is sliding. Are you out of your minds? You wonder why the world had enough?Israeli style "democracy"..... Get yourselves a constitution ASAP

Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.08.09)
What you say would be eventually possible if muslinism were erradicted from Israel and you ,non muslim arabs ,went to the army and sweared loyalty to Israel's flag.In such case what you say could be feasible ,in my opinion.Otherwise I see no way for integration.
12. Kaadan is right- abolish the comittees
Israeli   (12.08.09)
I don;'t think my neighbors have to look like me for me to live somewhere. this is a bigotted practise.
13. to #7 feeling bad
Israeli   (12.08.09)
That is not actually true. The people who MOST dont want the Arabs to live in their communities are usually Jews from Arab countries. It is the whiter ones who tend to be more accepting of Arabs,

Addle ,   Toronto   (12.08.09)
Beyond what? What other excuse is there for Israeli-Arabs to be treated like second no make it, "third" class citizens? Because they're not Jewish? Hard to believe when even Arab Jews get pushed around by the Ashkenazim and American immigrants as well.
15. #3 Coucou !!! Where is your answer about mine 8 &11?
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.08.09)
16. to #7 I feel bad for you, the reason for the law
ghostq   (12.08.09)
is that because most of them were beduoins and had no land in the past (they were nomads) Israel made them permanent residence in Israel while in reality Israel didn't had to, so she save the full right to revoke the right they gave in the first place, it's her prerogative.
17. to #14 they don't pay taxes or serve the IDF
ghostq   (12.08.09)
that is enough to consider them second rate, they want to have equal right they will have to have equal duties as well.
18. This is not appartheid
Anon ,   Johannesburg   (12.08.09)
1) first priority of the Jewish nation is to help Jewish people - not muslims who already have around 40 nations they cn call home. 2) In south Africa we have "BEE" Black Economic Empowerment, meaning goverment will only deal with companies that are black owned, Is that racist?? We have Afirmative Action, Is that racist?? We have Land reform, taking farm land from whites to give to blacks, Is this Racist?? the answer is a surprising NO! South Africa is a black nation, and will support the majority in the first case (Just like Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique), just like Israel is a Jewish nation and will support the Jewish part of the population before any other. It might not seem fair, however Its Democracy... That works

What would you say if the British government legislated that it is OK for Jews to live in the UK as long as they reside in ghettos ?
20. #19-Ghettos???
Uzi ,   Israel   (12.08.09)
Arabs are not living in ghettos anymore than jews living in ghettos in Israel. You talking nonsense.
21. #19 I didn't say that related to arabs in Israel.
Keren ,   IL-BR   (12.08.09)
I said they could integrate to us as long as THEY REALLY INTEGRATE by serving in the army ,swearing loyalty to Israel's flag and singing our anthem. This would be the normal for any citizen and they can not become full citizens otherwise.
